So far I got my 06-07 front with Inspire fogs to go on
I got my new wheelz coming in (could not pass on the price!)
and got my new lugnuts

...I won't be putting any of these on for awhile, well until I have a place to park when im @ wifey's because they are killing my bumpers out there. People can not park out here in NY for real! They don't give a sh*t how many times they bump into your ride so they can park.

Cargo net and Fog light wiring is in. Going to go today to pick up some self-tapping screws and pipe hanger thingys to use on the fogs. Then, wait to get my hands on a dremel and the warm weather so I can install 'em. I'm hoping to have everything installed during my spring break.

I just snagged a brand new base TL front sway bar for half the price it costs on acuraoemparts.com. Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to get it installed, lol.

I ended up paying $63 total for the bar, shipping, brackets, and bushings. It costs $130 on acuraoemparts.com.   The guy lost the brackets, so I had to order the parts at a local Acura dealer.

the Accord is ~25mm, the base TL is 27.2mm hollow, the TL-S is 27.2mm solid.

Master List of Suspension Upgrades says the TL-S is 27.2mm and driveaccord.net says the 06 TL-s is hollow and the 07 TL-s is solid......... I would assume that the base TL one would be smaller........

[EDIT]
Quote
I ordered the 17mm bar from the normal TL because I felt it may be a better balance with the 25mm front bar. The normal TL also uses a 25mm front bar while the TL-S uses a 27.xmm front bar.

Hmm, interesting because I've seen different info.

Quote
Front: 27.2 mm diameter, 5.0 mm wall thickness | BASE
Rear: 18.3 mm diameter, 3.0 mm wall thickness | BASE
Front: 27.0 mm diameter, solid | TYPE–S
Rear: 20.0 mm diameter, solid | TYPE–S

I guess now there's only one way to find out. The part number of the bar I got was 51300-SEP-A01.

Edit: I think I found the discrepancy. Between the 04-06 TL and the 07-08 TL, there are two different bars for each gen. Here's what I found on acuraoemparts.com:

04-06 Acura TL-S 6MT: 51300-SEP-A01
04-06 Acura TL 5AT: 51300-SEP-A11
07-08 Acura TL-S 6MT: 51300-SEP-A21
07-08 Acura TL 5AT: 51300-SEP-A31

The 5ATs from both gens are different part numbers, so that could mean that Acura decided to skimp on the bar for the 5AT models. This could mean one thing: For the 04-06, the base TL (which according to acuraoemparts.com, only came in a 5AT) had the 25.2mm hollow bar. For the 04-06 TL-S, the car had a 27.2mm hollow bar. For the 07-08 base TL with 5AT, the car had a 27.2mm hollow (not 100% sure since the part numbers aren't the same as the 04-06 TL-S), and for the 07-08 TL-S with 6MT, the car had the 27.2mm solid bar. A lot of years and base and TL and TL-S's being thrown around lol, but I think that's what it is. According to the above list, that means that I would have the 04-06 6MT bar, which subsequently means that I must have the 04-06 TL-S bar. The person selling me the bar told me wrong then. I'm glad he told me the part number, lol. I think he was misled by the Acura websites, because even though the bar may be from the TL-S, it'll still just say "Acura TL" in the description. I went back through and manually searched by year, version, and tranny type. 51300-SEP-A01 was definitely under "4DR SPORT" with the 6MT for the 2006 TL.

Both the 04-06 and 07-08 TL-S bars are upgrades, but the 07-08 is solid and a lot beefier, which means you'll get a lot more understeer. That was the whole reason I went with the 04-06 TL-S hollow bar, because it keeps the car a little more neutral.
