I just want to say that after reading Ryan's post before and then reading what Tim posted, this really bummed me out today. I was sitting for Jury Duty and shed a couple of tears. This is just horrible and just really hard to put into words.

I really didn't know Ryan at all, but just knowing he was a fellow car nut and Accord guy, I really feel sad. Just knowing that could have been anyone of us. Life is very fragile my friends. I'm still blown away at the news. Maybe someone can make a banner with a pic of him or his car and his birth and passing dates, post it up on the main forum page. I think that would be nice.

I think that's a good idea Jer. I'll see what I can do.
I also wanted to give you guys an update from all the donations. Since I posted this thread, we raised $181.44 after paypal fees were taken out. I used $80 to pay for the clutch line to repair his car. The remainder of $101.44 will be given to his wife to help her cover bills. As nice as flowers are, I would rather have this money go to something useful.

I'll see if I can get any pictures from his wife, but with everything that's going on I really don't want to overwhelm her. It may take some time, but I'm going to keep on this. Maybe I can get a pic of the NSX he had too. I know he loved that car.

Tim, that's fine by me. as far as I'm concerned that money all belonged to Ryan's family anyways.. and cash is generally better for everyone.
That's a great idea for the banner as well. It's still such a surprise though.. especially after seeing him come in and post about everything..
