Metro Peice of Shit is what it is.  I'm thinking more like Virgin Mobile. I heard they run off of the Sprint network. Anybody know if you can take your number with you?

Actually Tim, Metro Piece of Shit is on the west coast too, just not as big. I was surprised to see them in Cali when I was out there as I thought they were only a S. FL. thing. We're also talking 5 years ago when I saw them out there. They do suck and you're not the only one that has friends/ family that have had problems with them.

Nelson, you'd have to talk with Virgin to find out for sure. I believe you can have your number ported over but I don't know for sure.

So I may have missed this but I downloaded the tapatalk app becaue i kept seeing alot of my forums were supported but I can't fnd any of them I also could have sworn this forum was supported? Does anyone know also I tried the search lol

I am out of contract with a couple of my lines with AT&T, once I move my sister to her fiance's plan, that'll be one less...I also have my wife, mom, other sister, grandmother, and my self on my account.  I was given an older 3g iPhone, and just added the service...not worth extending the 2 year deal.  I want something all-inclusive and flat rate...also add a line for family (for less of a flat rate maybe?)...Metro PCS is only $40 for everything, and Sprint is $69...there are others, but 6 and 1/2 dozen of the other...if I can transfer my phones and port my numbers to another carrier, I'd do it.  It seems like there are only a couple networks that everyone runs off of anyway...

This isn't directly related to cell phones, but I though I'd post it anyways. You guys should check out Dropbox, it's really awesome for keeping files synced across multiple computers. I use it a lot between my computers and my android phone, so if you forgot to bring a file with you to work or something, you can just pull it up on Dropbox from your phone and view it there.

You get 2gb of free storage, but if you use the link above to sign up, you'll get an extra 256mb, plus if you do their getting started crap, they'll give you another 256mb. I just use mine for documents and homework and some other files and photos, nothing too serious. Obviously you can't keep movies or music synced on it, because you would need a shitload of storage.

yeah, I use dropbox for all of my school stuff.  It's synced to a folder on my desktop that I put all of my reading calenders and assignments on.  So in a case like when I went to Alabama, I still had all of my stuff with me available from my phone and any other computer.  It's awesome! TO THE CLOUD!!

Well, my iPhone officially died today. I just got a new one. I actually got a case this time hoping this one will last a little longer. I must admit, I was really close to getting a captivate. The Atrix was tempting but I hate Motorola. Its not to late to trade either. THe HTC Inspire would be an option as well.

Which do you like better, the Inspire or Captivate?

I used the T-Mobile version of the Captivate for a while, and liked it a lot. I've moved onto the Nexus S but, both of those platforms look good, and I've had good luck with HTC and Samsung devices. I'd probably go with the Inspire because it is more likely to see the next version of Android where the Captivate is probably not going to get the update because they have made new versions of it already.

Well, I went to trade it for the inspire and they only offer early upgrades on iPhones for free. It was going to be $250 plus the cost of the phone. I didn't really want to spend that so I just kept it.

Big Country, congratulations on switching to an iPhone haha. To be honest, the only downloaded apps I use are etrade, echofon, facebook, and Road Trip. Road trip is really cool. It keeps up with the gas milage and maintenance on my car. It will automatically alert you when you need an oil change or something. I'll upload a couple screen shots now that I can haha.
