I'm not angry at all. Those words were not mine. I forgot which one but an exec from ATT said that rates would go up. The iPhone bent over T-Mobile. The CEO of T-Mobile said the iPhone is the reason the T-Mobile USA has declined so much. I'm glad this is happening. It's just that many more people who will have access to the iPhone.

T-Mobile USA hasn't declined brother you need to read up and get your story straight... The compnay didn't make money for years, and hardly ever has. Bad for the company good for the customers. As for the rates going up they would be required to let you walk if you did not agree to those new terms. They were losing money long before the I phone

I'm just going off what I have read. I'll just start citing my sources. I got this article from Jim Cramer.

Until Apple introduced its highly popular touchscreen device in 2007, which went on to become the world’s leading smartphone, Deutsche Telekom had been generating decent sales from its American operation, with growth in some years surpassing that achieved in Germany. But after the iPhone went on sale, sold exclusively at first by AT&T in the United States, T-Mobile USA began to lose its most lucrative customers, those on fixed monthly plans, who defected to its larger American rivals — AT&T and Verizon Wireless, which began selling the iPhone in February.
The percentage of T-Mobile USA’s contract customers fell to 78.3 percent in 2010 from 85 percent in 2006, according to the company’s annual reports. During 2010 alone, T-Mobile USA said it lost 390,000 contract customers to rivals.
“Without being able to sell the iPhone, T-Mobile was in an unsustainable position and T-Mobile USA became a problem child.”

I'll have to scratch up what I read the other day but, it basically said they only made money 1 or 2 years since they bought Voice Stream...

it states that T-Mo was up in revenue last quarter 2010 from 4Q 2009.. however, they were slightly down in their customer base. So money wise, they did not decline, just a slight drop in subscirbers over the past year.
EDIT: After closer review of the numbers at the bottom of their report, it seems that they were down pretty much everywhere from 2009.. Granted, I'm not really sure how to decipher all of that information, but it almost seems like the numbers negate the written part..
