Something to think about is Apple is a computer comapany. The sell one phone. Imagine if Samsung only made the galaxy s series. How much improvement is III from II ?

You might want to look that one up that's a very bad example. There a pretty big differences in those two phones.

ugh..
I get to troubleshoot my Galaxy Nexus tonight.. first time I've had a serious issue with it.. I had to leave it at home, it's basically useless right now..

Honestly, I'm not sure. I turned off my phone, swapped batteries, and then turned my phone on again. I got an error message about having no mobile network until I restart the phone with a valid SIM card.
I tried to reseat the SIM card and tried a different battery; no luck.. I didn't have time to keep messing with it, so I'll have to try and debug it after work.
It was working before I swapped batteries, and I'm not sure why a simple battery change would cause this.

That's weird dude. Something must've unseated itself at some point. Primarily, the SIM reader.

It should be fairly simple if it is the SIM reader. It just requires a small screwdriver and patience. I'll see if I can dig up a dismantling video for the gnex.
That's how I figured out how to open mine when it went swimming. So many little connections that can be easily fucked up.

I don't understand how the SIM reader would have unseated itself from just changing the battery. It was working completely fine when I went to the gym and before I turned it off.
