Alright, I am a retard too, so help me out here. What I am getting at is, When they decided to release the iTelephone 5 and it is 4g, I will not have to go to tiered. Correct?

Whenever they do come out with wit the iTelephone 5 (which I don't think until next year bc Apple is not the type of company to release one phone after the other + a couple of other reasons), you won't be tiered if you buy it full retail price. If you sign a new 2yr contract, then yes, you're consenting to the new family data package. (If you're a single line or only one smartphone is on your plan, then it won't be removed).

It's kinda shitty that Verizon (and a lot of the other companies) keep changing the rules to suit their needs and nickel and dime their customers for more money. Damn dependence on phones and data and shit.

Problem is that there isn't one company willing to buck the trend and make it so much cheaper that it has an impact on the big companies.

Well Family Data packages are on demand by a lot of customers, only reason why verizon is thinking of/doing it.
Theres no such thing as unlimited data anymore because you cannot have 100million customers using 100gbs a month for $30 a mo... It'll slow everyone down. Thats why it's 2 or 4GB with verizon.
Yeah, little companies like Sprint and T mobile advertise unlimited yet they'll throttle you after a certain amount, which shows so on their adds. They won't bill you for overages but.. purposely slow you down.
My supervisor had Sprint and used 300GB a month. They called him one day and basically told him he's using 300gb a month, thats $2800 they're losing on him a month ($10 per gb overage with at&t and verizon) and they basically booted him off. But why, if its "truly unlimited data"?

That's retarded. It is, basically as Tim said, them nickel and dime-ing the customers. I guess I'll go ahead and keep saving for buying a new phone at retail haha

Rather have it slow down than stop working or get charged an overage. I don't agree that t mobile and att are little companies either. All three better get there act together or a big player from another industry is going to jump in and take a big shot aat them. I've long thought it will be good but who knows

Where did I say AT&T is a little company? I said t mobile and sprint are. Also, yes they are little compared to Verizon and AT&T. If you want slowed down crappy data service then activate service with Sprint and T mobile and see how you like it lol.

Of course T mobile works in most places and some others wont. Like I have AT&T due to Verizon having no service in my area, it happens. Doesn't mean one company is better than the other though. If you live in New York for example, every service provider will work due to the mass population.
