Ok so I just dropped the car off to get them mounted, and the dude tells me that they do no guarantee that the wheels wont get fucked up from the machine because they are powdercoated (which he said chips easly), and that they do the same for painted wheels too.  So he told me his best guy will be doing them.  I went out to the shop and told the guy to take his time, and if he doesn't fuck them up I'll give him a $20...he said he has powdercoated wheels too, so I told him to do them like they were his.  We'll see what happens!

For that kinda money, I could drive down there with my wheels and have them powdercoated, and drive back to pick them up when they're done for less than a local place around here.

I'm an idiot!  I went to take pics of the wheels mounted, and I didn't have my memory card in the camera!  FUCK!  They look soooo sick though,  My wife didn't feel well and I didn't want to make her feel worse, so I will have to wait till the morning.  There are two little black streaks on them, but barely noticable, and i think they might just wipe off with some chems and some elbo grease.  

Bad news...one of the wheels has a wobble...I asked the tech on a scale of 1-10 he said 5.  But he put it on the back, and said it would be less noticable.  I don't know what to do about that.  Guess I'll have to see how it drives.  shit I probably have had wobbly rims before and never knew it.

Let it be know to all that there wasn't any repairs done to the curb rash or knicks...they were just blasted and painted.  It would be a couple bucks more to have them sanded or whatever it takes to make them smooth...

I'd be willing to spend a couple of extra bucks.  There is one small curb mark that I'd like to have repaired.  I may just drive down there on a week day and talk to the guy in person.  I have a week of vacation coming up on the week of my birthday.
