Tein basic came in. Looking good. just wondering are those nuts replaceable because I am missing one. The one nut that screws down the top hat. Hmmm Or can I use oem 1?
They are replaceable. Get a new OEM replacement from your local dealership.
Thanks Tim. I talked to Thien about it earlier. He told me the exact same thing.

Took my TL-S RSB off and bent the exhaust hanger to fix that rubbing issue. Damn, that screeching got on my nerves. I shouldn't have been a lazy fuck and fixed it from the start. All is well now though.
I also took off and cleaned the whole inside and outside of one of my wheels. I plan on doing the rest tomorrow when I have more daylight.

Not bad Jeff.
I daydreamed about what I would do to it if I had money. Ahhh, daydreaming is nice until you wake up to reality.

Well, Jeff inspired me to go clean my wheels. So I took all four off and cleaned them. I am quite pleased. I noticed a few things though. I got my tires rotated and balanced two weeks ago. When I went to take the lugs of they had wayyy over torqued them. I had trouble getting them off. I think that is bad to do, isnt it? Something else is that my rear passenger spring is not seated right. The end of the spring is not butted up against the spring stop. I dont know if that will cause any problems or not but as soon as my Dad gets to feeling better we are going to take care of that. Lastly, I have officially put 20k miles on my car. It rolled over to 67,000 miles today.

I guess he has money to burn. I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs. Fucking amateurs. :

Drained and refilled coolant today! Was fun but took to long for that shit to drain lolz.... I also vacuumed out the interior of the ride to get whatever glass was left out and I took out the hideaway unit and all wires since I will have no need for it anymore since I was vandalized last week. Thank god my factory wiring is still 100%. Im looking into getting another Metra aftermarket kit so that I may have full use of all heat/ventilation controls... If anyone beside the NYCM wants to know the damage caused by the fucking thieves here is a kodak:
If you have to park your ride on the street I would advise getting an alarm system installed and try to park as close to where you are staying as possible.

I think I read somewhere that over-tightening the lug nuts can cause your rotors to warp, so I guess that would be bad, lol. Did the inside of your wheels have these like black spots all over the place that wouldn't come off? My parent's friend who's a detailer said that the brake dust pitted holes in the wheel or something along the lines of that, and that it'd be hard to take off. I didn't have the extra patience to get them off, so I just cleaned the wheels as best as I could. You can't notice the spots when the wheel is on anyways.

There were several black marks that I couldnt get off even after scrubbing with a tire brush. I just gave up. They were very dirty.

Dude, that sucks man...That is one of the main reasons why I don't want my car to look like it is modded at all...if people see you dropped with rims, and the car doesn't look beat up or riced out, and you keep it in nice shape...then there's a good chance you could git hit...fuck those fuckers

you guys probably not using solvents that clean good enough. whatever sold in stores not gona help you couse its "consumer safe" for ppl who dont know what they are doing. so to get something more aggressive you need to go online and know how to use it. most aggressive one i know is meguiars wheel brightener.
not sure how brake dust can pit your wheels though. it could have been other stuff on top of that as well

That is some straight fucked up shit they did to you Billy. I'd be hunting some foul motherfuckers if that shit happened to my ride.
Back OT, I just finished aiming my headlights a bit higher since they were aimed to low since the retro install. I've been missing out on a shit ton of light even with the fucked up rotation.

Spotted a set of 06-08 350z projectors for dirt cheap. I'm thinking I just might snatch them up for retro 2.0. What do the retrofitters :cough:Ken:cough: think?
