I took her for a spin on the way home. I'm actually impressed. I decided to hell with auto shifting, and shifted it manually through 1, 2, 3, then D. It worked out pretty well, and felt cool, lol. I was amazed at how long it can stay in 2nd gear. I was going at about 65-70 in 2nd gear with about 500 RPMs to go before redline, and my intake was ridiculously fucking loud in 2nd gear, lol. It makes me wonder, could the car go faster if I manually shifted it and keep it in lower gears for longer? It seems like by the time I'm at WOT and going at 65-70, it's already shifted into 3rd gear and is only churning like 3,500 and slowly creeping up. In 2nd gear, it's churning 5,500 - 6,000 without a hiccup. :P

Honda auto trannies suck and when you 'autoshift' (esp to redline) it your not helping the cause. I would think if you keep doing that you might break something. Just giving you a heads up Bill, dont want your tranny to take a dump man.

I would say that gives him the opportunity to do a 6MT swap but judging from past posts about his parents, I don't see that happening.

Think I might do a tire rotation this weekend, if I get a chance. It's been over a year.

Im Bill you dumb homo. He is Jeff, hence the screen name Jeff. Since the ability to shift is for engine braking, I would think that up shifting would be less stressful than down shifting while moving. Maybe not, but that makes sense to me.

I guess he has money to burn.  I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs.  Fucking amateurs.   :Smiley

Lol, it's all good. The only time I manually shifted it was when I was at a stoplight. Now I just have to get those pulleys installed and new tires put on!

It's Jeff btw, lol. I don't plan on manually shifting my auto tranny all the time, I just wanted to see how it feels. Thanks for letting me know though. Haha, I wish I could do a 6MT swap, that would kick ass. I've already got the MT shift boot, so I'm almost there! :P

I'll be 6mt by the end of the year (fingers crossed)

BOT: I finished installing the rear tein SS's!!! now I just have to find someone to take my car to the alignment place and have them install my camber kit with an alignment while I'm in vegas.. or just drive it the way it is for honda day!

Wash and wax, my front bumper looked like fly swatter after my trip last weekend. Gotta get some carpet cleaner for my trunk. TL sway bar should be shipped on Tuesday hopefully.

-Installed the TL-S rear sway bar with a new Advance Auto rear end link.
-Painted the rear drums flat black
-Took off the reverse lights and third brake and started to prep them for some VHT black out paint
