what people do over here is replace the inner steering rack end together with the outer tie rod end to "save" on alignment.

Changed my oil, bottled up a sample to go to Blackstone Labs, I'm interested to see what comes up. And I may have accidentally flushed and bled my brakes as well.

Replaced my ps axle and upper strut mount. Then I cleaned the wheel in that corner of all the muck that got slung all over it.

Attempted to swap out my door lock actuator to see if that fixed the unlock problem. The screw holdin it in started to strip so I gave up.
Oh and in the process locked my only set of keys in the car...
Called Progressive and Flo came and got me back in. It was bound to happen, but I think I'm lucky for havin the car 4 years with only havin one key and this only happenin once. Haha

With those door lock actuators, you have to be super careful and use the right number Philips screwdriver bit. Use any other and it will strip. Door lock actuator failures are a common problems with the Accord, and its more and likely the culprit on why your door locks won't open or close. I believe its a number 2 bit screwdriver. You really have to put a lot of force down on the screwdriver and turn at the same time.

I had to take mine out before. I used a #3 phillips screwdriver. Your best bet is to order a new screw and replace the one you messed up.

Outer or Inner? Outer is super easy, inners you need a special tool to remove.
I was able to do the inner tie rod without any special tools. Removing the tie rod was easier than putting the new on on. There is a washer that has the be bent in order to keep it from moving and changing the alignment. It was a bitch and a half to bend with the limited amount of space without fucking any other parts in the process.

I highly recommend using that special tool, because you are suppose to torque down the inner tie rod to 75 ft. lbs.

Good info guys thanks! Ill keep it in mind if I try to tackle it again.
It was my fault, I was still on a high from the success of the tie rods and thought I could jump into it without even really lookin into it. Bit more complicated than I thought. Haha
