That's really the only reason why I would go.
Don't let your girl hear you say that Tim.
She'd tease me about it anyway. Those shows are really only a reason for guys like us to look at slutty girls. If I wanted to go to a real car show, I'd go to Autorama.
She sounds like a lovely girl Tim, lucky guy you. LOL.

Yesterday sucked.

Yesterday I decided to drive the new car (yes the Porsche) to work as my old boss was in town and of course I wanted him to see the new ride. I normally do not drive it to work as it was never meant to be a daily driven car, more of my weekend and fun car. I still kept the Honda for the daily routine.
Anyway, on the way home, something, probably a rock, flew up and hit the windshield, cracking it on the passenger side. No big deal, I have had that happen before in a car, but still kind of sucked.
No less then a 1/2 mile later, the car in front of me kicks up something, I think a piece of wood and it hits the front of the car, putting a dent in the bumper and cracking the lower Techart front chin spoiler, causing it to crack away from the bumper. Whatever it was rolls under the car and then hits the side skirt and while it does not really damage it, it does cause it to come loose from the side of the car. Frustrated is not even the word.
So now I have an appointment on Monday to take it into a Body shop to get an estimate for insurance, Tuesday morning they are going to come and fix the windshield and then hopefully I will be able to get the estimate approved and parts ordered, to take the car back down to the body shop to do the work. UGH!

In 5 years of owning the Accord, I have had all sorts of things happen. One day driving down the road, the side window just shattered. Thank goodness it was tinted, it was all that held it together. I was rear-ended at least three times, twice while in the car and never did it really damage anything. Only other thing I ever really had happen was driving down the road, about 75 and a car in front of my swerved to miss something in the road and kicked up a construction cone that smacked across the front of the car, scratching the OEM front lip and bending it away from the car. Some 3M tape and I was back to good in that case though.

Sorry to hear about your car Scott. It was also no fun reading about how your accord has been beat up before too. Maybe you just have bad luck right now.

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune Scott...thankfully the windshield will be covered under Florida no fault....I don't want to see the estimate you get....I can only imagine what it's going to be like...
You'll have your baby back to shape in no time buddy!
And at least it wasn't in the accord...need I bring up the "sonic the hedgehog" analogy?
