On the note of some punk jacking your shit, that was my worry as well, I hate taking my car too moviesbor malls for that reason precisely.
That's why God invented security systems. Most "punks" don't know their ass from a hole in the wall well enough to steal a car with a well installed security system. The people that can steal a car with a well installed security system don't usually bother with Hondas.

Quite the truth, I have an aftermarket alarm system sitting on the floor of my room right now, just don't want to take it to a generic (best buy) place to do the work. Seeing as I've scraped the audio install I was going to do this spring in favor of protecting my current investment, care to help me out with this? Too much wiring and one thing I will not attempt to do myself, unless it is with the help of someone who knows the wiring in the 7th gen well (EG you or other audiophiles on here)

One of my worst fears is coming back to where my car was parked only to find an empty parking spot. It's not even a fear, it's almost like I'm waiting for it to happen.
For so long I've used the false security blanket that is the stock alarm. I'm under the impression that if someone were to try to start the car without a key the engine would be immobilized, but that still doesn't stop them from stealing what's inside. For someone who has 5 wheel locks of 2 different kinds on each wheel, you'd think I'd be more concerned about protecting what's
inside
my car.
This is the first time I've had a modded car during a Fast and Furious release. I'm kinda glad that the cars were mostly muscle because I feel like I'm on high alert for theft now. Some idiots out there see things in movies or tv or whatever and will do anything to have them. I think the Shark might meet the Viper soon.

Let me know if you need help. I'm glad to do the install if you want.

What does that have to do with security systems?
Back on topic, I'll be waiting to get this movie bootlegged. I'd rather avoid going to the theater and encounter all the fans. I saw 3 fast 3 furious on a date because the chick I was going out with wanted to see it. Needless to say, that was a mistake.

To bad the stupid theives around here will still steal your shit with a good ass alarm on it and they are only going for Honda's/Acura's. Its quited down a little, but its only because it was winter as soon as everyone takes their cars out it will start again. They have come to the point of flat bedding cars away and pulling guns on people and there seems to be no end to it.

Ashley last year when I was at school in cleaveland my best friend and i were rooming. The very first night I shit you not his Si was stolen and within 24 hours it was found on 120th street in Cleveland sitting on cinderblocks completly stripped. The engine only had bolt ons and it had everything you could possibly think of in suspension parts all mugen exterior and leather interior from and integra and rsx-s front seats. We could not believe that it got stolen that fast. Everyone had told to watch out so we wer going to get the private parking through our apartment building the next day. The sad part was that my buddy did not have full coverage on his car and was also going to switch it to full that week too. And being that he bought it off of a guy we knwo he had no reciepts!

This guy's car from one of the local car teams was stolen during the FF premier:
http://www.houston-imports.com/forums/s ... p?t=519202
Wheel locks really aren't too safe...ya they keep most people from going at them, but its really not hard to take the wheel off. I was helping a friend change a flat, he had a set of wheel locks on the car but had lost the "key" and we needed to change the wheel that day (sunday=dealership closed)...we went to a couple tire/wheel places and they wouldn't let us borrow anything, but suggested a gator socket, after suggestion we hit up sears and bought some of those gator sockets (basically a universal socket wrench) and we were able to get the wheel lock off pretty easily...just an fyi to you all...same thing with tunner lugs, but those are a little harder......best route=security system

Ashley and I saw the movie yesterday and we were thoroughly impressed. There was only a few very unrealistic scenes which comes with just about any movie. I would definitely put this second in line to the first only because the first got the whole thing started. However still one of my favorite cuts from all of these movies is probably the first 10 minutes of the second one when Paul Walker is on his way to the first race in the Skyline and then the actual race.

I think that there were two major mistakes made in the second, and thrid movies were both due to attempts to be cheap.
1. Both movies didn't maintain the original casting
2. FF2 especially was just a marketing bucket for mittsubishi, and they didn't even use an evo!!
