I think that there were two major mistakes made in the second, and thrid movies were both due to attempts to be cheap.

1. Both movies didn't maintain the original casting
2. FF2 especially was just a marketing bucket for mittsubishi, and they didn't even use an evo!!

What do you mean? Paul Walker drove the green Evo? Unless you're saying that they made it look like an Evo when it was really a Oz rally edition Lancer or something.

I thought the movie was good! There was a lot of cops around when you get out of the theater tho... waiting for ppl to make there own move.

it was ok. cant expect much from 4th movie in series, although some movies still good on 6 series in.

one of problems i see is that this movie should have been 3rd and not 4th. its like they did 4th movie and said "wait we kinda skipped logical link between 2nd and 3rd. lets go back and fix it. WTF

Quentin Tarentino makes movies out of chronological sequence and people call him a genius director. ( I think he's overrated ) Maybe they think they're too cool for chronology.

The 4th one actually tied together all three of the first movies if you consider that Vin Diesel was not in 2 Fast 2 Furious.

I dont think chronological order was ever taken into consideration when they started these movies.  I think they were hard up for money and one day realized "Hey! We can make another one and just stick it in between the other ones, bring back the original cast, put one member from the cast of the next best liked of the series and some new cars and everybody will love it because it's been about 2 years since the last one!" Probably something along those lines. LOL!!! Kind of like when they came up with some of these ridiculous movies like Freddy vs Jason and Alien vs Predator.  They saw an opportunity to make some money off of something everybody liked but hadn't really seen for a while.

I actually heard the same. Vin Diesal, and Paul Walker have signed on. Hopefully Miss Brewster follows suit. I would love if they used Ayanna Jordan to replace Letti as the Girlfriend.

who wouldnt wana sing on for movie like this. some of stunts actors do themself and stuff. there was video where they practice drifting and simple stuff like that, and driving skyline, hell yeah i would sign up too
