I have all the parts and will do a DIY. Tried Friday but couldn't get the ball joint loose. I'll try again this weekend. Wish me luck getting a ball joint separator. And no I don't want to use a pickle fork.

How much did it cost for everything and where did you buy it?

good luck with that ryan

im starting to buy parts for this as well,

quick question tho are the 4cyl and the v6 rear calipers the same? can the v6 calipers be used since im going to be upgrading the rear to 12.3 inch pilot rotors and will be using a relocation bracket does it really matter if i use the calipers of the v6 or 4cyl??

reason i ask is i found a good deal on the v6 rear caliper, thanks.

EDIT: never mind looked it up and part numbers are the same so i justt went ahead and bought them

Hmm, I got lucky. The 2005 model was the first one with all four discs, right? Or was it the 04?

I really want to do this. I hate seeing drums. Can't wait to see the diy so I can decide if I want to do this.

I guess he has money to burn.  I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs.  Fucking amateurs.   :Smiley

Disk brakes done!! I think Im the first crazy person to have the conversion. The brakes feel really good. Completely a bolt on affair.

Take off knuckles, ebrake and re attach the disc components.
My list:
proportioning valve
2 ebrake cables
2 knuckle assemblies
2 calipers w/ brakelines
2 rotors + pads

Thanks for pioneering this upgrade Ryan.  I need to save up some money and get on this.  Did you take pics?

it'll take me some time to post up the pics. I couldn't complete  this myself because I for the life of me could not get the ball joint off I took everything else off but had to put it back. I have a Helms so ill try posting up torque specs too.
