Currently talking to my dad on the phone about how installing this TSX IM will drastically screw with the computer on my car. He's saying that the computer is set to work with only the factory stuff on the car, while I'm trying to tell him that the ECU can adapt to the changes in airflow, etc. He's also saying that it's going to kill my gas mileage, lol. Oh, he also said that I should really get a new IM gasket because the stock metal one is already all mashed in from the years of it being on there.
I think he's a little paranoid. :\

I feel your pain. Anything that didn't come on my car, I have to accept any liability of damage that could be caused by the mod. He feels that the parts are made to work together, no need to screw it up. This paired with the fact that I am a Senior in High School, no money to fix stuff, is the reason my car is STOCK. Im about to drop it and get wheels though, but now I am responsible for all suspension problems.
