I need a recommendation on a reliable dyno in the RI/MA area.  I had my 2003 Accord dyno'd back in 2007, and since that time I've added a few more engine mods, so I want to get some new numbers.  I also need advice on which type of dyno is best for a front wheel drive Honda, since the one I went to in 2007 was a Mustang Dynamometer, and I was told later that those machines tend to give conservative numbers, so I wasn't satisfied with the results.  Some people have recommended to use a Dynojet, but please correct me if I'm wrong so that I don't waste $70-$90 on useless baseline runs again.  Thanks.

New England Dyno in Douglas, MA has a dynojet.  From what I know, DynaPacks are the most accurate, since they take your wheels off and bolt your hubs to the dyno.  Dynojets are a bit more "real world" accurate because you keep your wheels on and dyno your car on rollers.  You can argue the benefits of one over the other.  I just know that Mustang dynos read lower numbers, up to 20% lower.  I guess that kind of defeats the purpose of having a dyno if they can't give accurate numbers from one dyno to another regardless of manufacturer.

^ Agreed.  I've gotten a few recommendations so far for that place in Douglas, and I'd prefer the more "real world" application of a Dynojet over a Dynapack.  Unfortunately, the original place I dyno'd at doesn't have the machine anymore, so I can't go back to them.  Tim, where have you dyno'd your car in the past?

P.S. This one's great:

I've dyno'd my car at Wang's Tuning in NH, and at ESP in Sterling, MA.  ESP has a Mustang dyno, but I wouldn't recommend going there.
