I don't have cable tv, so I use netflix constantly. Their selection is half assed, but it's better than nothing.

Why do you need such a long cable?
ACE Hardware used to sell 100ft cable pretty cheap.. I don't know if they still carry it or if they sell longer.. A 150ft cable may need to be custom made..

As far as I know, cat6 is supposed to supersede cat5e, so it's up to you. I bought a 75 foot cat6 cable off of Amazon and have had no problems with it.

I want to hardwire my xbox 360 to my router. The router is in the bedroom and my xbox is in the living room. Have to run it up the wall, into the ceiling across the hallway, kitchen and living room into a closet, down the wall to behind the TV. I may be adding a couple of feet as a safety blanket, but our apartment is 90 feet long and it's basically from one end to the other.

That's probably because your tv is generating interference. I've seen it happen with different types of tvs.

it's all N. My laptop even has some dead spots in the living room.
The link that Jeff posted seems like a really good price.

you could get a big spool and terminate the ends yourself.. basically make your own. it's not terribly difficult if you get the tools.. just a matter of matching the same colors at each end of the cable.

Which wireless N adapter are you using on your Xbox?
