Sorry Tim, didn't see this till now. Nope, no experience with the google tv but I've been hearing it's fizzling out.. :/
On another note.. I'm looking into getting a new TV. Anyone have any suggestions? Looking at the samsung LED's right now.

So Apple fixed my 4 year old MBP that died earlier this year, for free too! Pretty stoked about that.. I got it back today, and then swapped the stock 120gb 5400rpm hard drive for a 750gb 7200rpm hard drive and swapped the 4gb RAM back in.
I sent it in with the stock hard drive and the stock 2gb RAM.
The turnaround time was incredibly fast. They sent out an empty box on Monday, which I received Tuesday. I then sent in the laptop on Tuesday as well, and their repair center received, fixed, and sent it back out all yesterday. Everything was shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight.
Their customer service in this case was awesome! I am very pleased.
Now to finish the OS install and test everything to make sure the new logic board works..

I have a Samsung plasma and lcd and I'm happy with both of them. Get whatever is in your price range that looks best to you and has the features you want.

Mark, thats awesome about the mbp. free is always best!
I have no interest in 3D either, but it's built into almost every tv available now so why not have it? I'll never end up using it, but the 2D picture on the samsung TV's are just incredible compared to the 5 year old 32" Toshiba Regza LCD I have right now.

Fuck it, get the new Sharp 80" LED. That thing is totally worth the money. It's got yellow pixels. :

hahaha I wish i have room for an 80" tv.. I would get it in a heartbeat.. lol 55" would be the absolute max for my apartment, and that's pushing it. 46" should be juuuuuust right.

I was kidding. Sharp is trying to make up for the fact that they have a shitty picture by making the biggest LED and adding that yellow pixel shit. I've seen their 80" and it looks like garbage. Give it 6 months and there will be 80" LED's with a good picture.

no matter what size you get, your gonna wish you went bigger. my lady said no bigger than 50' so i ended up getting a led/lcd vizio 47. and bout a week later she said next time we'll go bigger.
