Do eeeeet! It's completely harmless as long as you don't raise the voltages to extreme levels. Hell, I've had my desktop computer overclocked by 50% for 5 years now, and no problems.
As far as Sync My Pix goes, I use it regularly. Since I use QuickPic for my gallery app (get eeet!), it lets you hide folders that you don't want to see. So I just hid the cache folder and was done with it.

What do you use to raise your voltages? I have the overclockwidget and I can up the freq through that. Plus, it displays the freq my processor is at with 10 sec intervals right on my home screen.

generally you have to flash a kernel that's compatible with overclocking, then use a program like setcpu to control the processor speeds.

Try to restore you phone. Not sure how its done on that model but, generally it removes bugs after upgrades.

Jeff should be able to help you out more specifically with that device since it's what he has as well.. Have you done anything to it rooting wise?

Any time you update a factory reset is usually one of the steps you should take.

Android does have its moments... but it's a sacrifice that I'm willing to take, considering how much customization there is with the OS. Every time I see someone's iPhone and their homescreen, I just think "yep, another identical Applie device" haha.
Anyways, I don't want to start a flame war. As far as the issues go, Mike is correct. Factory resetting helps out a lot whenever you have some issues going on. In my case, I'm running the rooted Gingerbread build, which unfortunately isn't possible for you yet, since you took the OTA. The best part about rooting is the fact that you can back up all of your apps, then sync them to Dropbox if you so desire. Google only backs up the apps themselves, and none of the app data.

I on the fence on what to do with my phone situation. I would like to try out an android phone but don't want to lose the capability of listening to pandora in my car without any static, since I have the iPod/iPhone interface/controller. I also would like to switch to T-Mobile since I'm getting butt raped by AT&T but since they're merging together, that could be useless. I could see if I could have an android phone and setup it as a personal hot spot, then run my iphone on wifi, piggy backing off of the android phone.
Don't know. Tough choices. What do you think? Maybe I'll just wait till my iphone dies and then I could get another one. The android phones seem so cool though

what type of interface are you actually using for your iphone/ipod connection? do you have an aftermarket headunit set up that you run your iphone through a usb port? You can setup android devices to work as a usb mass storage device, and access any music you put on it that way. I don't think pandora would work this way though, you would have to put it through the 1/8" stereo jack into an aux port.
I think it also depends on which android phone you have. I know the fascinate (which is what I have) has a car dock that I bought which runs my sd music through the usb port on the phone and into the car via the 1/8" aux port. Pandora, however, does not work this way, and if I wanted to listen to pandora through my car, I have to plug the 1/8" jack directly into the phones' headphone port. Don't know why?
