If they were to recall the iPhone 4 right now, it would cost 1.5 billion. That is only 3.5% of their cash on hand. I dont think they have anything to worry about. That silicon case probably cost 5-10 to make. So, in comparison to what I think they should do, they are getting out cheap. An iPhone 4 16gb cost $186 to make.

Hmm... Should we take a look at the stock market monday... AAPL vs. GOOG?

Sure. Google was down $34 Apple was down $1.55.

Okay and Goog is $459.61, and AAPL is 249.90

What's Google's market cap and what's Apple's market cap? That's a better indication in my opinion because that means Apple has sold way more shares.

Yeah but, I own some google I got it along time ago at a great price should have sold when it was 600 something.

+1.  I want to know what the car dock is too.  I'll be honest, the fact that the Droid X can be a mifi hot spot is a very attractive option.  I'm having a hard time getting past the fact that it's a Motorola.

Any of the current, good smart phones(iphone, droid, not Crackberry because they suck, etc.) can be a MiFi hotspot. If it doesn't come activated from the factory, there's software out there that activates the option.

My iPhone 3G was a hot spot. I used mywi. It was both bluetooth and wifi.

There's a car dock accessory that you could purchase.  Essentially, when you put your phone into the car dock, the phone is automatically placed in a car dock mode.  It gives you quick access to the navigation feature of the phone.

This is what the screen looks like when its in car dock mode.

My CarDock app doesn't look as fancy as that one, but it does pretty much the same thing. It came pre-installed on the phone.  It's just a bunch of big buttons to make it easier when driving.

I haven't set up the favorite contacts yet because I don't really use this app much. I still need to get a dock for my phone... I've been rocking the cupholder for awhile now, lol.

Well, that sucks about the crackberry.  I am going to end up replacing this phone anyway.  It's just a matter of time since it's still fucking up.  Verizon really dropped the ball with sending out remanufactured phones as warranty replacements.  I'm just thinking that if I get a new phone, I want to be able to use it as a wireless hotspot.
