I'm getting my Droid X next Thursday, so I'll let you guys know how I think about it. I'll pretty much be comparing it to my iPod Touch 2g jailbroken, since that's the only other smart device that I have. I'm running 3.1.2 on my iPod Touch because iOS4 can't be jailbroken yet, I don't think.

Yeah, my friend's iPad is jailbroken. I'm pretty sure there is a jailbreak, it just hasn't been released.

the main reason i had/ will be getting my newish iphone is because the ease of use with the video watching, and music. im sure others might be better. but i use itunes for my songs and video and i know know 3 other people that have an iphone for this reason as well.

That's pretty fucking funny because it's so true.  I'd like to try and keep the discussion here related to cell phones though.  Let's keep the bashing and hate down.  If you have an opinion about something you don't like, try and express that in a mature and respectful manner.

I checked out a buddies HTC EVO 4G on sprint today, and it was pretty bad ass. The network was okay at best but the phone flew on wifi.

well today am a keep messing with  a blackberry 9630 from Verizon i caught for cheap to try and make it work with tmobile since i got 1 more yr left with them

Verizon phone cannot work with T-MO unless it has a sim slot, and even so it would have to be completely reprogrammed to look for a sim.

well i see it as since the "internet" plays such a big roll in people life they are going to make everything more accessible from phones to tv's nothing will be out of reach with google
