Now somebody tell me why my iPhone feels it's on fire and my battery only lasts an hour and a half from a full charge.
I have a 3GS running iOS 5..1.1.

I'm not heated at all. Just pointing out the facts they are all over charging like crazy. It's not one or the other its all of them. Sounds to me like your I phone is having battery issues. The short life coupled with the heat generally idicate a lithium ion battery on its way to failure.

Well you can take a battery out an iPhone, you just need a special key/screw.

I might do what a former coworker does. Upgrade to latest iPhone, sell it and pick up the latest and greatest Droid. In his case, he picked up a Galaxy Nexus at retail long before AT&T even had it and had money left over. Gotta love how overpriced iAnything is.
