I don't mind actually.  TX is fine with me.  It beats MA any day.  I won't have to worry about freezing winters and all the other bullshit that goes along with living in this state.  The best part is that I'm white, so people will be nice to me in TX!!

I'd prefer to be less angry also.  If I get the job, I'll be going to San Antonio.  For those of you old school people that remember Jon (konatriathlon), we've been talking over the past few days.  He's in the Dallas area, but it will be nice to be near some other members.  

As far as me leaving, it's not that bad.  I don't really have much work up here when it comes to working on other cars.  I can do a lot of stuff outside of the cars and I still have some ties to the area.  I can always come up for a long weekend, plus this new job would involve traveling around the country every once and a while.

I've lived here for 10 years now and can't wait to get the fuck out.  I know I'll be around other members, but I won't be close to anyone.  It doesn't matter.  After speaking to someone in staffing today, it is known that I'm very interested in this job.  I just have to figure out how to move down there.  I really don't have any money to move at this point and I'm unsure of when I would move into this new position.  The only thing I know is that I am not passing up an opportunity like this.  Robyn looked into jobs for herself in that area and it looks like she would be getting a 50% increase in salary.  I think it's the right move.

Robyn finding a 50% pay increase sounds badass man. Looks like this new job is a win win for you in every which way. Now, the only problem is getting you guys down there.

They won't relocate me.  I'm going to have to figure out when the job would start and just save up as much as I can until then.  I guess I could sell my winter wheels to help soften the blow.
