A little twisted? Try alot twisted. We should create a thread and post up like an org chart as to who is the ______ ECM member. (It could be funny, most knowledgable, etc)...Could be a good way for newbies to get to know us a little better. It's like if I want to know anything about tires, I ask Thien...Just a thought, or a brain fart.

God damnit. The PIAA wiperblades that I just bought have been streaking straight from out of the package. I did everything the instructions said, too. It's actually more of a haze it leaves after wiping, but the haze is only in certain parts of the windshield, like in streaks. I'm wanting to say it's the treatment on the windshield itself, but I don't know. I wiped the windshield down like twice now, and the wipers are still doing it.

^what treatment did you use?  I don't know anything bout PIAA's blades.. maybe there's a residue on the blades themselves.. take some type of cleaner to them.. don't know what to use? simple green maybe, but I'm not sure if that would dry out the rubber..?

PIAA has their own windshield treatment wipe that you put on the windshield. I'll have try cleaning the blades themselves. Not sure about the simple green though. Gah this sucks, I spent over $40 on these things; I could've put that towards my tranny fluid. Makes me wonder if these things have been sitting on the shelf for 10 years or something, lol.

Edit: just got a reply from PIAA about the situation, that was pretty quick. Gotta go through the usual questions though, lol. "Yes, I cleaned the windshield... yes I used the right adapter..."

Good point. I did get a bit excited though. I've come down from the high though. On another note, since this is off topic, something must've done my insides wrong because my stomach is making all kinds of noise and it sucks.
