If you mean gay in the traditional, happy, meaning of the word then it was definiltey that!!

No I mean it in the fruity bruno type way.

Now that makes more sense seeing as how Kev is about as gay as Brokeback Mountain.

What the fuck! God damnit! We couldn't get the damned crank pulley off! Then when we tried to put the belt back on with just the other two pulleys, it didn't work. So I had to put the stock power steering pulley back on. Right now I've only got the alternator pulley on. I take one step forward and two steps back! [/vent]

Now I need to call around and see if I can rent a 3/4" drive impact wrench. 1/2" just didn't cut it. The impact wrench we used goes up to 600 ft-lbs I think. Part of the problem was that we had too long of an air hose, but we didn't have any shorter ones.

I think Paul's heavy duty one he showed me is 1200ft-lbs. He got tired of heating up the crank bolt with a torch to bust it loose. LOL!!!

Why in the fuck does that pulley need to be so goddamn tight? That's ridiculous! At least I have the alternator pulley on... I noticed a very tiny increase in pickup... maybe .01 hp lol. That and the power steering pulley were by far the easiest thing I've ever done on my car...

We tried using a breaker bar on the pulley, but we had to use so many extensions to get it out of the wheel well that we snapped one of the extensions clean off. That was with 1/2" drive. I think that 3/4" drive would do the job. I just have to call around now and rent a fucking impact gun. If not, I may have to find a really short air hose and see if that works. The impact gun we used should be able to take that pulley off, according to the guy that owns it. It grunts a little, but it'll take it off. The downside was that we had it hooked up to a 50 foot air hose, which really didn't help. The guy that owns the impact gun we borrowed used like a 10 foot air hose, and apparently that did the job.
