I knew you were fucking lying Piero!! Those guys called it.

Last night, I cleaned out all the extra stuff from my trunk, put my cargo box back on my roof rack and filled it with parts to bring to Paul's. I also replaced the CCFL's in my trunk so I have a trunk light again. 2 of the cathodes were burned out, and the converter box for the other 2 cathodes was broken.

Mine have been out for like 6 months now. Replacing them was low on my priority list. I bought a bunch of extras though. Now I need to get one more converter box so I can add a few more tubes in my interior and trunk to make things super bright!!

How many CCFLs do you have total in your trunk? I've got 3.

Back OT, I installed Tim's oil catch can today. I'm now up to 2, lol. They may be pointless, but they give me something to do!

And here's a real pic of what I did yesterday:

I've got to mess around with the cutouts some more once I get the exhaust raised. For being my first time using a dremel, I think I did pretty good.

I have 4 of the 12" tubes in my trunk and it does a pretty good job of lighting things up. I think I'm going to add another pair to my trunk lid though. I also have 12" tubes under my dash and seats. I plan on adding a few more in the interior eventually.

Now, back on topic. I did nothing to my car yet, but there may be an update soon.

Looks great Jeff! Nicely done, I think it will look much better once you raise it though. The cutouts look nearly perfect though.

I cleaned the dust off it with a California Duster thing.

Installed the Okada Plasma direct coils today and changed the spark plugs also. I am going to Jacksonville this weekend to Velocity Trends again to see if the ignition curve has straightened out a bit and go for a re-tune. Ignition is always going to be a problem using the FIC but i will be upgrading to the KPRO this summer vacation followed by a Jackson Racing supercharger set up.
