washed my car today and noticed someone bumped into my front bumper, mustve happened when i was at work last night. i think my co-worker jinxed me when she asked "has anyone hit your car yet?" and i said "no." gotta get around to doing a minor detail on her when i have free time and aren't lazy

went to the exhaust shop (1 of 3 they have in the area) to see how much it would cost to add a Y-pipe and do the tubing. the guy whos not even the manager or anything said he wouldnt be able to tell until its in the air and it may cost 200 and up. seriously? thats how much it cost to do from the cat-back with a single muffler. all im looking is to do the Y-pipe and the rest of the piping. it sounded like he was talking out of his ass. so im gonna go to the main one (who did my exhaust couple years ago) and see if i can get a quote from them.

Swapped my charger cable in my dock to a component cable for my iPhone. Now I don't need to use a 3.5mm Jack to listen to my music.

Tuned my audio this afternoon. It amazes me on how much I can actually do with the Kenwood (KVT-817DVD Excelon) headunit. I gotta take it in to be looked at though because the screen does'nt want to come out on it own anymore. I have to guide it out. It makes a clanking noise. They say $50 to look at it and then price of fixing it depends on the damages. I have had this unit for like 6 years already, damn its been a long time. It still plays so its all good!

No offense, but you get what you pay for.  I had one shop install my exhaust and I've had nothing but problems with their work.  They had shitty welds and did a very sloppy job.  When I got my mufflers replaced, I went to a different shop and paid more than the $200 you were quoted.  Needless to say, it was money well spent because the service was professional, the work was impeccable, and I was happy with the results.

Here's the old shop's work.  Notice how they just expanded the pipe to fit around the other and welded it.  It looks sloppy and isn't good for exhaust flow.




Here's what the second shop did.  You can see the difference in the quality of the work done.  The guy took 5 hours just to install 2 mufflers after the "Y" and I'm glad he did.

Call Kenwood directly.  Don't spend the money on taking it to a shop.  I'd always call the manufacturer before going to a local shop.  People get ripped off that way.
