What engineering do you do? I'm still a CS major, but I'm leaning towards a switch to Electrical Engineering.

Systems engineering is title, but I do mechanical (Primarily), mechanical designing, project mgnt and electrical.

If you're in your early college years I would say make the switch if it's what you want. Anything from software to electrical to mechanical are good fields. These days you need diversity and that's why even though I have my BT in mechanical I want to get my MS in Systems Engineering cause you'll be able to work on all areas of a project while coordinating with those in the individual fields. I go to New Jersey Institute of Technology. Decent school for engineering plus I'm saving A LOT of money going there. I'm definitely in the early stages (freshman), so I'm debating the switch. I'd be getting my BS in Electrical and would probably pursue a masters in something like Systems Engineering.

NJIT, I went to NYIT. Do they offer a College Success Seminar class there for freshman? I changed my major twice after taking that class, still within a technical field. At the end of the day it's your choice what you want to do in the future, but it's better to change early rather than investing a lot of time and money into something you dont like.

My sentiments exactly Rich. Hell, I'm working in the electronics field now and can't fucking stand it. That's why I'm going for a degree in criminal justice. Can you guys picture me as a cop? Fucking scares the shit out of me just thinking about it.
