The NYCM Squad[/i] came about as a branch of the NECM Squad (North East CM Squad) due to the large number member's in the New York area. If you are from this area (ie: Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and even NJ) we welcome you to join!

We are not just a bunch of member's online. We actually host numerous amounts of meets (ie: BBQ's, photoshoots, car shows, paintballing and go-karting) just to name a few. We are a very active group all year round despite the weather.

I had made an NYCM thread without even seeing this. Oops. Either way, I guess I'm a part of this joint here. On another note, I'm keeping my sig the way it is until a couple of mods get added and the pics get changed. Looks like I'm repping NECM until further notice. Glad to be a part of it! LOL.

Jonathan, NECM Squad was the original Squad for us in the north east.  We changed over to NYCM because of all the members located in NYC, etc.  However, it is best to list our region as the North East to limit the amount of Squads and to also include the guys up in the north east again.  Trust me the knowledgeable members are up there.  We have no issues traveling so we should revert back to the original squad name.

Billy, from Piero's response, it looks like we'll be NECM instead of NYCM. It's no big deal. It just means MORE MEMBERS!

Tim I started dropping hint's to a meet in the Newport RI area on G7A for the spring time. I think it would be a cool area for us to get together, and maybe something worth looking at.

I'm into it.  Newport wouldn't be as much of a hike for all of us to get to.

It could be a pretty cool spot if we did it in the spring. Come summer it's to crowded down there but, in there spring it should make for some cool photo ops.

My sister goes to college in RI, and there are some great spots for pics. Id be down for that, or Up for it

I should have a few new mods done by then. I'm definitely down to go as of now. We'll see what happens when the time approaches. New pics would be sweet!

I hear ya man, but you're also repping NYCM from g7aspace™ and not ECM. Like Piero said earlier, we were originally NECM and created NYCM because of our numbers. Unfortunately, the NECM hurt because of that. They couldn't match the NYCM numbers. Its all good though. Like I said before, it just means more members, and more of a knowledge base in our area to pull from.

It's only a decal... You can leave it on and Rep NYCM from G7A I dont think anyone here will hold it against you!

If its the meet in Newport, RI, then I think its a yes. Depending when it happens, I might be in Boston on a work trip. Maybe I can authorization to take my personal vehicle up there instead of riding in the government vehicle. So hopefully, we can schedule this around my work trip.

Let me know when you're going to be in Boston and I'll come hang out.  I'm assuming that you'll be at the coast guard base in the North End of Boston.

Regardless there are great places to eat, great spots to snap some pics, and should be an all around good time. I look foward to meeting up with everyone, again, or for the 1st time.

I was awaiting yours and Tim’s response on this change.  After yesterdays meet I noticed that we do need to have our own squad because our numbers are crazy large.  We meet up often and the majority of the members are no more than an hour drive from each other.

I would recommend that again we revert back to using NYCM as a sub-squad of the North East Region. If the guys up in the North East want, they are and will always be considered honorary members of our squad.

Oh and you guys “The majority” have voted me in as this years Squad leader for the NYCM Squad since Mike AKA Blue was not active with in the Squad.

I honestly haven't seen much movement from Mike's end for awhile. All I saw him do (on the forums, that is) is post NYCM on g7aspace and that's it. From what I understand, he's got a lot of things on his plate with school and shit. I could be wrong though.

 
D, he said that he will not join either forums. However, he is well and still available to all of us if needed.  He said to simply call him if we should ever want to hang out/meet or should need help with anything.  

I however cannot speak for him but as a general FYI Mike AKA Blue is doing just fine.  Dude, I text him for every meet I go to and every event so he could roll with me. I have tried and failed...

Well I dunno about you guys but me and Jade06 had alittle bit of fun on Interstate 287 last night on the way home from the Palisades... we had a friendly race with a 3rd Gen7 which came outta no where. The car was nice and slammed too... it was crazy to have 3 Gen7'z going down the highway and all of use had CAI cuz you heard it! Of course I didn't have my camera with me this time so I could'nt get any footage. Maybe next time, I will not leave home with out it!!!

Billy, I know what you meant to say was that you, E and some other driver in a 7th Gen Accord where caravaning together at the highest posted speed limit and that was what was fun.  

I know you where not racing!!!   & FYI dude you have to be careful because going south bound there is always a highway patrol unit right before you pass the Mobile Gas Station.  Oh, the speed limit in those parts goes back down to 50MPH…

YUP, I hate racer wannabes who make it way crappier for the rest of us, Steve/Piero/Chino it would be the same garage we met up in for Go Karts back in January, that is New Roc City.  As for show times that Friday I'll go to whichever show, I don't care, I'm off that Saturday and I'll be out of work around 6 on Friday so whatever show everyone agrees on is all good with me.

Yea I would get out of work around 8:15 and be in the Bronx by 9ish. It does'nt take more than 25 minutes fro me to get to New Roc City from there. So I was thinking probably NOT the last show (cuz I know all the crazies will be around like Steve was talking about) but the one before... say sometime after 10 would be kool. I will just be getting back from the Dominican Republic earlier that same week!

Agreed, Im sure they will have a lot of showtimes that opening day most likely a 10:15 and like a 10:40 or 10:45, I will keep an eye on it and let everyone know once they have the showtimes figured out.

Also, its my birthday in 90 minutes, LOL, Wednesday Bday for the fuckin loss.

Also Installing the CF trunk took dremeling and some drilling of small holes so i could reattach the trunk liner, a LOT of parts removal and reattachment, and just generally a PITA.  Took like 3 1/2 hours doing it by myself yesterday afternoon, my "buddy" was too hung over from MY birthday party, where I easily trounced him in drinking, damn amateurs, LOL

Hey guys sorry for not advising anyone on last Sunday’s meet at El Malecon but I too got a call last minute from the founder of DA HILL, he wanted to know if I would come down to meet him and his team since they are now part of One Group One Nation.   Every Sunday they and all other car clubs are there from noon until very late at night.  

However, I would suggest that none of us ever be there at night with our cars parked in that location because I have seen crazy shit happen from fights, crashes & arrest.   That is why I prefer Randal’s Island because the police do not bother anyone since they already have everyone trapped on the island; LOL

Let’s make it happen but for next Sunday not this one coming up…. I have to work on Sunday…

Yesterday we had a sit down with the founder of DA HILL and some of the heads of HN to discuss several items that I had on my plate since no one had the balls to say anything.  

Dude, they did what I wanted to do with TCC but even worse if you asked me…   HN dose not want to give any other crews the props for their numbers.  Now these F-ERS still don’t know what they are going to do for a name because the issue now is that HN has more notoriety than DA HILL so some members are saying that DA HILL is riding our thunder & the guys from DA HILL don’t want to incorporate the name to just one name.  So we are back at the start.  HN, One Group One Nation and Friends.

As you saw, I will support my friends/brothers no matter what crew they are involved with and I will show my support to all…

As far as the teams like I said before no matter what Team Crazy Creashunz and HN/Da Hill will always be one because through our rides we have created a friendship those goes beyond a name, and we just need to keep doing what we love in a positive way. - (what I mean by this is even though some members of TCC chill more with some members of HN it doesn't matter what team we represent what matters is that we can get along as one!) You know Billy and this is not to ruffle anyone's feathers but how can you say that TCC and Da hill will always be one, what does that mean? did I miss something?.          Fact is most of the TCC members don't even know, met or hung out with Da hill, I know only that they are Piero's boys and Piero my boy but I don't know Da hill, I'm not saying it's a bad thing, shit the more the better but as a fellow TCC member I feel I have the right to know what's going on in this car club since you say this car club is a family and I'm pretty sure the rest of TCC does too.  
I really suggest that at the TCC meet in May you clarify what your intentions with TCC are, you know me bro I'm a die hard/hard core TCC member, I even bought a wagon to be down, that's how much of a dedicated mothafucka I am, always down.... for anything.
I know you bro don't take this the wrong way, it's just that there's a lot going down that I need to know about.

Okay I see we have some conflict on the situation, a few months ago Piero presented to me that HN(Honda Nation) would merge with TCC to become one Auto Club since they were having the issues with Honda America Corp. Regarding them using the name. HN would become TCC as we saw that Piero, Ralph and Omar came aboard. Founding members of HN didn't like the idea because they wanna keep .the name and keep it uptown, fine... whatever. When I say that we will always be one meaning that since we all chill together and do events together that it is fine to have their own name and chill with us. We as an Auto Club do not discriminate against no other club but I do know that we have our feelings on who to hang with and not! As far as TCC Auto Club at the first meeting it will be addressed  that whoever does not want to participate within the club can go their own way... even if it means we are back to the original members at this point I don't really care I want a QUALITY Auto Club that can bring something to the auto club scene now and in the future. I appreciate your devoted time to the team Chino and you know this and I also hope you keep dping so as well... you my dawg and I didn't take what you said the wrong way. I just wanted to keep peace amongst the teams since sonme of their memebers were being hostle on coming over to our team TCC.... Im TCC forever and whoever wants to roll with the name lets do this.

HIN Boston is May 9th, HIN NY got moved to Englishtown, NJ (back in Jersey after 2 years in NY) which is royal BS, but its on May 16th, and then there is one in Scranton, PA (new venue) on June 6th, and another late season one in Centre Hall, PA on September 25th we have 4 shows within reasonable driving distance (2:00 hour-3:45 hour min drives) this year (usually we just get two in NY and Boston)

I will likely be showing at the May 16th one at Englishtown, need to check if RCT still wants me for their team display (which would man my car would be in the show, LOL), I couldn't do it last year.

Guys just got off the phone with the ranger station @ Floyd Bennett Field. There is to be NO open flame on the field. So the BBQ is out of the question.

So I guess we will be hitting Burger king OR I know a nice litle spot over by Arie. It's on Emmons Avenue right of Nostrand Ave. Easy access from the highway about 15 minutes from our meet location. I just forgot the name of the place. I'm sure Steve would know or Chino... Chime in so we can figure this out!

TIME CHANGE FOR MEET

Just an FYI for the member'z of Team Crazy Creashunz or if you would like to join our team:

Our 1st Meet of 2009 will be Sunday May 3rd, 2009 @ 10AM. The location will be Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn NY, 11234. We will discuss summer planz, meet new memberz and give out the new teez. If you have'nt paid yet this will be the day that you will. Let's be on time so we can handle our business first and take individual kodakz and groups shots.

Please remember NO burnouts, NO engine reving, NO loud hornz (nothing like the F&F Movie Night) Just basically NO crazyness. Remember there is a Highway Patrol Headquarters near the rear of the field complex. We don't want any issues with them. Also I have contacted the Ranger Station and they told me there is to be NO open fire on the field grounds. Therefore our BBQ plans are out the door. We are still open for suggestions on a meal spot.

Let's make it a nice event for Team Crazy Creashunz and joining member'z of the NYCM squad!

FYI: Orchard Beach Car Sow has been canceled for reason's not known of yet. I think the date has been moved to the weekend of the 17th but im not 100% sure.

What'z crackalackin' dudez... Well with so much time on my hands I decided to finall install my custom lime green valve cover, replaced all gaskets and also fixed Dino'z civic. Had to replace both power steering hoses after they malfunctioned on our trip to PA this past sunday. HMmm maybe tomorrow I will conquer the TSX IM. Can't wait for sundayyyy...

Clemente, I didn't know you served, much respect and +5 for that, I have the utmost respect for service men/women.  Anyone who puts their lives and serves time to help protect this country is a brave and selfless person in my book.  

I have been to mexico 3 times (Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and Cabo), each time I came home tanned/burnt, sleep deprived, worn out with significantly less money, and a slew of crazy days/nights that I still look back on in disbelief of some of the shit that i experienced lol.

Well rain or shine, TCC member'z have already taken the day off so we have to meet and give out the tee'z...so probably do a breakfast thingy like last time. As far as the bridge I have no idea, but if it rains I don't any bike runs will be taking place.

Rain or shine that bike tour is gonna happen, there will be only one level closed for cars so you shouldn't have any problems getting over, I would though try to leave a little earlier just in case.

Update: From Brooklyn to Staten Island the lower level will be closed from 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Nice going Kev, gees let me see it's been 25 years since I last rode a bike, hit the back of a car doing 45, the fucker stopped short at a light and it had rained earlier in the day, hit that fucker hard, looked like superman flying overhead, landed on the hood, the bike in the trunk, luck was with me.
Feeling that nothing had happened to me I took off running, when I got back to the hood I told my boy who had lent me his bike what had happened, he almost died laughing,
not because of the accident but because the bike was stolen, it was fucked up but I was relieved, I didn't have to pay for the bike.

I just want to give a big thank you to Tim and a very special thank you for Kevin. Both of these guys came through with my wheel fitment problem and have extended parts that I needed in order to rum the PSX-9’s I picked up for the summer.


Anyway, thank you Kevin for the front calipers Bro and thank you Tim for being the very first to offer me the same.

I don't know if those calipers are going to fit because he has a V6 and you have an i4.  The rotor size and offset is different between the two IIRC.

It's worth a try.  The i4 and V6 knuckles are the same.  I'd definitely get V6 rotors though.

I'm just curious Kev, any reason why you went with the R6 instead of maybe a Honda CBR1000RR or 600RR or Suzuki GSXR1000 or R750/R600?

Size of the disks are the same, as are the size of the EX/EX-V6 factory wheels, I think these should work.  Only way to find out would be trying to put them on!!

I hate the CBRs to be honest (don't like there feel, sorta of heavy and chunky for a bike IMHO), a GSX-R1000 is WAY to much bike for me, same a CBR1000RR.  I'm not framiliar with Suzukis as much as I am with the Yamaha's, Plus I have two friends with Yamaha's, one is an R6 thats a year newer than the one I picked up, so if I have an issues/questions it will make things a heck of a lot easier.  Plus the 1000+ CC bikes would have been 2 grand more

I was going to order them from eBay but in this case I better play it safe and get parts from Auto Zone just so that I could return what ever dose not fit.  

I will start with the V6 rotors to see if all clears with out any issues.

Since the caliper bracket mounts to the knuckle, and the knuckles are the same (hence my earlier knuckle comment), the mounting points should be identical.  At this point, to play it safe, make sure that you are using all V6 hardware (i.e. - calipers, caliper brackets, pads, and rotors) to ensure a proper fit.  In theory, you shouldn't have any issues at all.  If you do, there's always Plan B.

The calipers will fit all these!!!! ;-) I will get the V6 rotors, etc to be on the safe side.

Maybe we think the V6 rotors wouldn't fit cuz the Legend calipers wouldnt, so maybe you might get lucky Piero. Try test fitting with the 4cyl rotors. That's the only way you'll know for sure.

Sunday would be good, but it would have to be early... sunday is the wife's day... In all it should take 60-90 minutes to do. Did you get the IM gasket and the throttle body gasket? Also have a gasket scraper (blade) handy!!! Let me know if sunday b4 12pm is good say 10ish or earlier if you want. OR Saturday is good before 3PM of course...

No I did not because everyone said that I may be able to re use the ones already on.

Well in Steve's case and mine we had to scrap off the old gaskets... I would atleast have them on hand jus incase. Especially on a sunday and if you do need them we don't have to be going crazy to find an autoparts store that will mostly like have to order them and not have them on hand!

Well you can reuse the old one, but I don't think that's a good idea cuz when putting on the new mani onto the throttle you want to ensure a tight seal. I dont think you want any leaks to arise and then end up taking it apart and doin it all over again.

As Billy said, it's good to have them on hand in case you need to replace them.  If they tear when you're removing your TB or IM and you don't have a replacement on hand, you're fucked until you get a new gasket.  It's only like $10-20 in parts anyways, so it never hurts to have these.

Okay I'll check auto zone for them.

You might have to check Honda as well. Check autozone manana so this way if they don't have it and you do have to go through Honda you have time.... sometimes they don't always have the parts on hand and you have to wait till the next day!!!!!
