i was told by a few guys that i inquired about painting my bumper... that if i bought an aftermarket bumper they would up the price $50 because of the extra work it would take to paint it nice (sanding priming etc)
also warned me that aftermarket bumpers are very low quality and crack very easy, esp in the colder months
everyone i talked to screamed at me to never buy an aftermarket bumper and ONLY stay with OEM.
i know this is the more expensive alternative
used bumper - $50
sandpaper(s) - $20
matching paint - $40
Primer +_ Clear coat - $20
total - $130
versus getting a new bumper for 90 than paying $250 to paint it
or OEM bumper for $180 + $200 to paint it
my shit came out pretty nice...i def saved alot of cash doing it all myself and learned a few things in the process... but to each his own
whatever it takes to get yur whip looking nice again
GL with everything

You're definitely right about the quality of aftermarket parts compared to OEM Nick. I suggested aftermarket since aftermarket stuff is half the price of OEM and most guys are trying to save money by doing this themselves. My body guy suggested Keystone as a brand that fits the best as far as aftermarket goes. Other than fittment, there shouldn't be any other differences. The polyurethane should be similar if not the same as OEM.

Not much is going on on this end of the island man. You should go see transformers. That shit was bad ass. The autobots and decepticons fighting and kicking ass, Megan Fox looking delicious as ever sprawled over a chopper. Pure awesomeness.

What's up fellas. Kev, I know I'm late but you should definitely see Transformers. Like Z said Megan Fox...AWESOME. Plus some bad ass action scenes. Anyway I'll be hanging out in the Rosedale section of Queen tomorrow evening if any of you guys are going to be around and want to meet up PM me.

Well last night a fucking ricer rear ended me. The damages are not bad but this fucking kid had no license and was the stupidest fucking driver I have ever seen. This kid fucking used his e-breaks to try to stop on a wet road… WTF was he thinking?
I got all his fathers information and they are to call me later on today “Saturday” to see how much the repairs are going to run. He lives one block away from me so I am hoping they do the right thing. Especially now since he was shitting bricks because my boy from the 33rd Precinct drove up and stopped as soon as he saw me on the side of the road talking to this kid and asked me if everything was okay.
I have lots of friends with GOV J.O.B's
However, the funniest part of this story is that all this happed because the kid was paying attention to a drunken South American ridding his bike in the rain. This guy could not keep his bike straight and kept falling on the road. That shit was funny as heck!!! The drunk busted his ass!!!!
I know the kid that hit my car was looking at the drunk instead if what was in front of him on the road. I know that when he saw my car at the red light stopped he freaked out and pulled his fucking e-break. His passenger side fender made contact with my driver side bumper. This kid was already sideways!!! That god he was not on a highway because. Well you already know where I’m going with this.

That sucks Piero. I'm glad it's only minor damage and that you're okay.
