I've had the Storm for about 2 1/2 months now and its the illest. By the way, my brother owns a wireless store back home in NY, and he told me "DO NOT use a car charger on that phone it will F it up". Is anybody still down for the Honda-tech meet in Richmond? I'm going regardless but I wanted to know if any of yall will be there.

How will the car charger mess the phone up? would you rather suggest buying a second battery then?

I dont know. I'm just going by what he told me. He's the expert. he's been in the business for over 15 years.

It is to replace my sucky DC header flex pipe...So im not sure

I would imagine it is 2.5" diameter, just need to know the legnth so I can oreder the correct replacement. I can get the flex section for between $40 and $50 depending on the legnth, they come 4,6,8 inches long, as far as welding it in, probably like $75, $100 if I have to drop and reinstall the down pipe.

Mine doesnt lose enough juice that I would need a car charger. I charge mine up over night and I still have plenty of battery by the time I get home the next night.

Can you ask him when you get the chance? just wondering out of curiousity. spoken with 5 other blackberry storm owners and have reported no issues with the use of the car chargers though i'm not saying your bro's info is invalid, but just want to learn other facts. of course I want mine to last at least as long as my contracts duration. thanks.
