Thats what I'm talking about man! but I never saw you prioritizing performance all of sudden since you were first focusing on making the car look good with all the aesthetic mods during the G7A Classic days. So what made the change of direction?

Suddenly realized that "show" doesn't mean much without the "GO"? Thats what I'm all about. Go first then show. I just think its dumb to have a car that looks fast but isn't. I'd rather have a car that DOESN'T look fast but IS!!! MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!! SLEEPER!!!!

True. but that is only your logical point of view for your particular vehicle. Sometimes people just want to build their to look good yet wouldn't give a rats ass if they were faster than the next car or not. But thats just another example with many reasons as we are all modding with different intentions, in this case I asked Derrick.

Yea! Ive had revelations that I may almost get tired of having a faster car once the S/C is in,.. I doubt it but still I had a weird dream I was S/Ced (I know weird!) and I was like WTF! This is weak and boring! Ill just have to wait and see! But,.. another thing Im getting kind of annoyed with is my suspension is riding so soft,... honestly I think Im gonna switch it out again once the S/C project is completely done,..
Thinking about Julie's setup with the EDFC,.. then again maybe Ill just go the NEX GTs route, about 600 cheaper ya know,... Im thinkin this cuz I looked at the tops of my strut towers and the little rubber mounts at the tops are starting to go again,.. think Ill just get the full suspension this time around,...
Also looking at other wheels, what do you all think of these?
Enkei EKM3s
or these

wow, pretty weird dream but it happens to all of us once in awhile whether is about cars or anything else. Yeah I gotta admit the Tein SS can be pretty harsh when your driving on a road that is no where near smooth even at the softest setting, but it definetly pays itself worth it when you need to do need to adjust that dampening for whenever you know your gonna be driving a little extra hard. You should also get the TL front sway bar and strut bars also.
The wheels look good, I like them both as far as wheel design and wheel brand goes. There are many styles of mesh wheels, but IMO that type of design is best suited for majority on Euro vehicles, There are certain types of asian import vehicles I would have those on, but not on the 7th gen.

^Yea after looking at them more closely I started to lean away from them, then I realized the ASAs that I was looking at (the 2nd ones) weer a clone of Tenzo R type Ms and then I started looking at Tenzo R rims,.. yea found something I really like,.. a bit too close to what I have but take a look either way
Cusco V1
also the Tenspec V1
These are the Type Ms
Im looking at rims more for a new offset, I was pretty upset that when I relowered my car on the Basics I was rubbing:-(

As far as the Tenzo's being close to the ASA's design, I would choose the ASA anyways just because of the quality construction since they are a subdivision of BBS. but thats just why I would choose the ASA's over Tenzo's. But if you must, at least Tenzo's dont have the same reputation as Rota's if you know what I mean. And out of all 3 of those Tenzo rims that you pointed out, I would choose the Type M's just because its doesn't show any similarities of your current rims and it will give that new design feel of your car so therefore you would appreciate your investment best with that choice.
So your saying you want a less aggressive fitment of wheels? I know what you mean man which is why I got rid of my first set of 18's as much as I loved the way they looked, they unfortunately didn't come in a smaller fitment than the ones I had (18 x 8.5, offset 42). What is your current wheel dimensions now?

Most dont remember the story or dont know so here it is again. When Ashley first bought this car she was insanely upside down in the loan because of the negative equity she rolled into it. Well a couple years down the road she started to not like the car due to the slowness and other things. Unfortunately since she was so upside down in the loan I couldn't trade her out of it into anything else. So basically I wanted to build the car up to the point that she would like driving it again hence all the cosmetic modifications. Well now that the car is gonna be MINE I wanna focus on performance cuz with MY cars that's what my primary focus is. Cuz when the car was in Ashley's possession she's not a speed demon nor does she care that much about performance so at the time none of that was needed. The good thing about how this process went down is that since I knocked out all the cosmetic stuff for her there's no need for anymore at this point besides a couple tweaks that fit my fancy a lil more.

sounds like a very good story man. will the car still have a chance to be Taffeta white too? Since I know thats one of your favorite OEM exterior colors for our vehicles.
