If you want a good coilover system at a great price look at these, I have had these on my car for 2 years now and love them, they are pretty much equivelant to Tein SSPs, but at 1/2 the price.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEX-GT-C ... dZViewItem
When I get some free time to install them I will be ordering those.

They come assembled with the top hats in place so with a lift only takes about 1.5-2 hours to install.

I've built a couple 2JZs, what he looking at???
He doesnt know shit about cars and wont take me with him up the the mechanics. It keeps shutting off whenever it is at idle. The mechanic told him there is some kind of "motor" that opens up the valves. I am thinking he might be talkin about the idle air control valve. I am trying to figure out what he is talking about so I can do some research and help him out. Ever heard of this problem of single turbo supras? thanks
Yeah, they have a IAC simular to the ones on 6th gens....
would that be making it cut off at idle?? if that valve is bad?
If it is bad, yes it would cause the car to die at idle, a good test would be to see if you can hold the throttle open just a little bit and get the car to idle, if so then 90% the valve is bad....

ryann, i was helping him and you out. i wasn't correcting you or making a "smart ass" comment. you really gotta stop taking life so seriously bro. sorry you took it out of context.
on another note: as everyone has already said, Tremmor, that is pretty damn expensive for basics. just get used if you can find em, or those Nex-GT's are really good, for the price.

Damn, thanx alot guys! Its deffinatly somthing i'm gonna have to save for cuz i don't have $500+ to blow(Army doesn't pay me much) And the only reason I've been pokin around in Andy's Autosports is to see whats available for my ride, its one of the only sites that I"VE found with alot of stuff SPECIFICALY for my car.
Once again, thanx for all your guys's help. Have we decided on where we will all be on Friday? I'm voting Tysons! And I will deffinatly be there! No drop, stock rims and all!

Yea I was about to say I loved the look of the D2s and the ride, never been in Pauls car but Ive heard the NEX-GTs are good, also I think there a good $50 somethin less than the D2s well either way I think most of this convo should be in a suspension thread. Prolly should ask questions there ya know. But I will say being able to adjust ride height with coilovers has made my car muuuuuch more versatile, I couldnt imagine going through the winter as low as I was with my Konis.
On another note no need to flame or flame back when people make smartass comments or stupid responses, were a squad ya know! I mean come on guys! If theres anyone we should be fighting it should be those god damned C'nooks in TOCM!!! Maple Leaves my ass!!!
and For the record that was a joke for those of you who dont understand my online biggotted sarcasm!
+1
There is no need to flame, especially when someone is just asking a question to another.
ROFL, as far as your bigotted sarcasm. I believe most of us here can attest to that. What did you mean about C'nooks in TOCM? did they say anything about us?

Then what were you really doing? how was I out of context, after you made your response out of nowhere? as far as being serious, dont tell me what to do. you have no idea how to run my life.

Tysons seems to be the winner for location. I'm gonna need a recount to see whos going. I also want to ask everyone if theres a particular time you guys want to see the movie or ya dont care what time as long as we all get to see the movie?
Tremmor, dont worry about showing up stock. all new members area always welcome to the squad.

Ryan-- don't take this as I am telling you what to do but you do need to chill out. Brian was apologizing in his own way.
Brian-- You did the right thing by apologizing but I can see why Ryan thought you were being a smart ass.
To both of you--You know I would never lie to either of you. We are supposed to be a family. I know families have disagreements but once they do they are supposed to apologize, forgive and move on. We all mistakes then we learn from them and then move on.

Thats fine that he apologized in his own way, but he out of all people here should know how I am and I'm not gonna stand to look like a dumbass, especially online where everyone can read it after some stupid shit he just tried to pull. so of course I'm gonna stick up for myself. I've been moved since I dont see anymore need to continue that. By knowing how people are in the first place, I would hope that would be a lesson learned.
