there should be some programs you can use on mac, I can't offer any suggestions though as I have no experience with them

I figured it out, I just didn't like how it looked. Working on another picture. Keith has an idea of what I want and will be making a new banner.

oh, and any chance we can get the "forum rules" box at the topped either removed, or the ability to X it out after viewing it...it's kinda annoying seeing it daily

Yeah, I know I have a ton to learn. I wish I was the person who set everything up so I had a better grasp of this stuff. The tough thing is trying to find someone who knows what they're talking about and then finding the time to learn this shit.

well if you really want to learn setting up the whole thing, you can make a dummy site and install a forum on there to mess around with, that way if you want to try something new on ECM, you can try it there first and if it works great, if not...you haven't lost everything...
If my memory serves me correctly, you use 1and1 for hosting. They usually allow you to have anywhere from 10 to 25 databases with their basic hosting packages, so you can make a sub domain on ecm (as in go into the ftp and make a folder entitled "TestSite"...and then when you go to elitecm.net/TestSite ...you will get whatever is in that folder, so you can create another forum in there)...i'm currently doing the same thing making dummy sites to learn how to use WordPress (a blog software). As far as actually installing the phpbb forum software, they usually have step by step instructions on their website or README files

How big was the picture? There are picture size restrictions that will not allow you to post pictures that are too wide. I hate scrolling sideways.
