Well, the paint I got was low-gloss, but it may have gotten so glossy because I put 6 coats on it, lol.   No cons, though, lol.

I also did a quick wipe-down of the engine bay, and I have to say that it looks A LOT cleaner just from that. I didn't do anything fancy, just used a damp cloth.

So... what's next!? I'm trying to figure out what I should save up for, whether it be engine performance or suspension. I'm kind of leaning towards getting some more engine mods, but what?

Any suggestions? lol

Performance:
ralco pullies - you can probably find a new pair for sale on here for like $140ish
might cost like 100-150 for install tho.... its not easy and going to be pretty damn difficult depending on your tool collection and lift availability
esp with the bolt ons you have now the pullies highlight the increases SO much more
alternator/power steering/and crank pullies are in the kit
read somewhere that oem weight = 5.9lbs ralcos = 1.6lbs (368% lighter) and your engine will very much appreciate the load reduction :o) you'll appreciate it also haha
probably the best performance mod i have done, at least i think so

total price 240-300 range unless you install or find one of our EliteCM brothers to help you, then it might be around $140 + case of beer haha

or a few to think about... rims, tires, grills up front, stripping the black vinyl off your door pillars, lowering springs and shocks / coilovers, front strut tower bar, new performance spark plugs, OBX oil catch can

Are these underdrive pullies that I keep reading about on here? I always wondered what they are/do, but I went to a website, Unorthodox Racing, I think, and they were like $400 for three different ones, lol. Is it really that hard to install? Is there a DIY anywhere?

Stripping the door pillars sounds like a cool idea, but I think I'm going to keep them; I like having the gold/black color balance on my car.   No cons, though, lol.[/quote]
Thanks. I didn't really want to paint the throttle body black, because that thing is way more delicate than the others, lol.

I think it sounds pretty sweet, although I've never heard any other intakes, so I wouldn't know. I do have a youtube video of my car, but of course they never do justice as far as sound quality goes.

Ok, so my first decision was to get some Ralco pulleys, but it seems as though everyone here would much rather prefer to lower the car first. With that in mind, and in addition to my noobtastic knowledge of springs/shocks, what all am I going to need? From what I've gathered here on this website, I am going to need: 1) Springs - I'm in a split decision between Tein and Eibach, 2) Ingalls Rear Camber Kit, and 3) Shocks (clueless on this part). Is this everything I'll need? Also, what is the difference between springs and coilovers?

At this point I think the Eibach Pro-Kit is the most popular here on ECM (or maybe would the Sportline kit make more of a difference?), so I guess I'll go with that.

I'd also like to keep in mind that money is an issue here, so I'd like to keep the budget as low as possible. Thanks.

check out my pics...
i have eibach pro kit springs
and you should replace the shocks, a good choice would be the tokico blue shocks/struts or KYB's... you can find these on ebay shipped for like $300 or less
you dont HAVE to buy shocks...but whenever you lower yur car its gonna put ALOT more stress on OEM shocks...eventually leading to the early death of them
also...almost all shocks are made for any accord (4cyl or v6, interchangable)
springs will be specifically made for the 4cyl

i dropped about 1.4" in the front and 1.3" in the back
(squeezing 2 fingers in front, squeezing 1 finger in back)
sets it up for a lot more aggressive of a stance, i can send you alot more pics if you wanna have a closer look for yourself, i absolutely love it
handling is a dream now... such a HUGE difference

thennn yur gonna need 2 ingalls camber kits, one for each rear wheel, should run you around $150
this is composed of 2 bars on each wheel... the toe bar and camber bar (may not be correct terms) but they replace your lower arms in the back making them adjustable so yur wheels arent like this
/ \    and more like this  l l

Eibach pro-kit springs - $175-250  sportline springs will give you an extra half inch drop for around same price, maybe a lil more
Tokico shocks/struts - $250-300
Ingalls Rear Camber Kit - $130-160

installation - anywhere from $160-400
i got a great deal on my install

GL man...its alot of cash but its very worth it visually and performance wise

also i have the ralco set... it was $140 shipped, bought from a EliteCM member, normally these are $200 new
unorthodox racing pullies are the best, however easily another $100 to the price tag

Damn, this was a lot more than I'd expect it to be, lol. I guess I'm screwed, because I don't have the means of just coughing up $700 - 1 grand for all of this. I'm still in high school, and as you know it's fucking hard to make money at this time. I guess I'll have to stick with the pulleys....

Did you install your pulleys yourself, or did you take them to a shop?

I would definitely do the suspension. I have begun the process. I got my Eibach Pro-Kit for 224.95 and my Ingalls rear camber kit for 140.00. The installation for me is going to be $419 which included the springs and camber installation and an alignment, I'm sure I am getting ripped but it is my only choice. Youll need another alignment 4-6 weeks later. With the Eibach Pro-Kit the drop is so mild that you can do with out upgrading your struts. You want get as low of a drop, but itll work. Tein H-Techs are an even milder drop. With the Sportline I believe that you will need performance struts, but I am not really sure. Thien is your man when it comes to all the details. He helped my through the process of picking parts.

I guess he has money to burn.  I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs.  Fucking amateurs.   :Smiley

yeah forgot to mention the alignment... its absolutely necessary after install

i got suspension install for $160 and alignment for $90
kinda lucked out and got a good deal

it is possible to do install yourself but difficult, it took 2 guys at a garage with the car on a lift almost an hour and a half to get all 3 off and changed
the crank required a 4 foot breaker bar and removal of my crank plate
got pretty intense, power tools werent enought for the crank bolt to break loose

pulleys install will range from$125-175 i would think.... $125 for me personally
there may be a write up somewhere how to do it...
