Starting with a rough surface on the sills will definitely help the resin adhere to the plastic better.  I'm not sure if you do any other prep work, but making sure that they are cleaned thoroughly is also a good idea.  If you vacuum bag the initial layer of resin, you could spray on the additional layers of resin with a HVLP gun like a clear coat to ensure an even coat and no bubbles.

i wipe it with rubbing alcohol before resin. but i dont have gun to spray resin on, i usualy brush it on and its self leveling as far as i was told

Make sure that you rough up the surface so you have more mechanical adhesion in addition to what you're already doing.  I know that having a HVLP gun isn't common, but it is one way that you can get a good coat without bubbles and reduced imperfections that you would have to sand smooth later.

put in my CF pass door windows switch cover. looks pretty good. not completely satisfied since you can see imperfection if you look very close but cant see it from normal distance. ill do better for other side hopefully

comparison. this is when i had fake 3d carbon fiber from ebay.

look ok but not nearly as good as real. maybe after clear coat it would look better but i like real stuff better
