He actually installed my Wilwood BBK. I was going to have him build me a custom mount to replace the shitty one that came in the kit but recently my drivers side caliper started making this creaking noise whenever I press the brake. Then my rotors warped. I kinda just want to get rid of it all and start over with the RL kit but who knows.

creaking noise could be because the shitty bracket is moving.

Yeah. I would side with Mike on that one too. My point is that you could probably save a few dollars by keeping your calipers and maybe even rebuilding them if they are messed up. You're still going to end up replacing your rotors and bracket anyway. I know that Willwood makes good stuff, so don't let the quality of the fastbrakes components sway your decision and empty your wallet.

Do you know what size they are?
Paul's wilwood kit is much better then mine. His came with the older larger caliper where as mine came with the newer slimmer calipers which are a POS. Plus he had his own mounting bracket whereas I had to use the shitty one Fastbrakes sent me and 6-8 spacers to get it to fit. The front rotors just warped and that is the last straw for me. If anyone sees a pair of 05+ RL calipers on ebay for cheap, let me know!
My friend selling his RL calipers on acurazine.

Tim do you have a picture of your new setup? Did you shave off the ACURA logo and/or powder coat them?

The Acura logo is shaved off, but mine were painted. I'll try to post pics when I have time.

Hey Guys I happened to secure an 05+ RL brake kit. The thing is I was going to put them on my civic, It has the fastbrakes kit w/ it. I know this kit was made to fit civics 88-00, but I'll have to run a 15-20mm spacer to have them clear the rim I have chosen to use. So instead of selling them, I now, would like to know
where can I get this bracket & rotor to fit our accord?
I am looking for potentially this biggest rotor slotted & dimpled/just slotted?
any help would be appreciated.
TIA,
Joel

Paul can make you the Bracket (NVA_AV6) not sure about the rotors.

I kinda figured they might work. I read this thread then I talked to Fastbrakes today and they mentioned that unless I had a 2pc rotor things would not line up properly. So my question is can someone measure the Rotara rotor thickness?
Again TIA,
Joel

If you want my advice, I would pay Paul to machine the brackets for you and then get whatever rotors he suggests. My brackets were made by Paul and they're perfect.
