ive tried to avoid thinking about it. but yesterday i went to get an oil filter at the stealership and my car doesnt even look near as good as your guy's but one of the workers told me i should put neon light kit on. needless to say i walked away.

someone asked me where I bought my body kit from yesterday.  I about punched them in their fucking face for calling it a body kit.  Its a lip kit and its a factory option what the hell.

Some jackass made a comment once when I was getting gas.  He said that I had "the best looking aftermarket body kit he's ever seen".  I was quick to snidely reply that it looked so good because it is a factory lip kit.  I didn't mention that I had a coupe lip kit on my sedan though.

My Uncle is a Mechanical Engineer for Dura which makes parts for Ford. He drives a Lexus. I bet he feels awkward pulling up to work every day in Detroit. That has to say something about the American Product.

Back On Topic. I have always been really self conscience about it the rice factor of a Honda, partly because I live about 30 minutes from muddin central with pipes and mud tires, huge sarcastic country accent there. I think that is part of the reason that my car looks the way it does. I am even hesitant to get a lip put on.... The irony is that when I first got my car I was ridiculed for it but when they rode in it they were in awe of how nice it was. I think that they will keep their trucks and SUV's though. Luckily most of my friends drive fourrunners, so it is a happy medium.

Lol i got the best of both worlds... i have friends in the muddin scene and i mostly hang out with a close group of car guys and gals... now there is a guy that comes out to one of the places we hang out at who has a 4cyl 03-05 sedan it has a poweradder filter from autozone on the stock intake piping and it has aftermarket hubcaps and a 3A racing muffler from pep boys... the other night we were all out at tennessee speed sport and my friend brought his dog out and patton(the dog) likes to pee on hondas and donnie(honda owner) parked beside me and patton wals to my car looks at it and then walked to the other side of donnie's car and proceeded to urinate AHAHAHA

sometimes it just haunts me that my car will forever be a Honda which for a lot of people will be associated with rice. so far i've only gotten compliments on it but thats probably because most of the people in washington are mellow average people that are used to seeing accords as family cars. i really hope that the accords in my area remain as family cars so i dont have to see too many eye sores

Since there is no true definition of what is truly rice and what is not, I will say this, Piero that body kit looks like horseshit but atleast its put on properly from what I can see
and to Skip yea of course its awesome to see the underdog car thats customized right but it does suck to have so few options to customize our cars with and I'd be happy when shopping for parts if I could see that this is for a k24a Accord and not for a TSX/RSX.

But to be honest I believe there are two true requirements for Rice

1. The massive body kit - proper lowering
2. Cheap Advanced Auto Parts/Pep Boys performance and stick on gear

i have noticed that neons kinda died off and know they are starting to pick up again.  That like I've wanted to put white cathodes under my dash but everyone will think that are neons.  Same thing with my HIDs since they are 6000 and have the blueish tint to them they all think they are cool blues from my work.
