For the past week or so this site is running so slowly for me that it may take 3-5 minutes for a reply to appear after I click submit. Overall the response is slow also. Is it me or have others noticed this? No such problems are encountered on the countless other sites/forums I visit. It is getting somewhat irritating.

It is slower. He did notice it and believes it could be that the bandwidth of the server is getting hit a lot more because of the increase in activity. I could be wrong though. Although I have noticed the activity jump dramatically over the last month.

Yeah an increase in activity may be it. 75 out of the 111 members here joined in Feb or March. Quite a dramatic increase.

The only area I have experienced delay is at post submission, but then again I'm patient so it's no big deal. FireFox FTW

Yes, everything is running slower than before.  I have noticed this only when submitting posts.  It seems to take a while for only that.  It may have something to do with the increase in activity recently.  I'm looking into this to try and get it fixed as soon as possible.
