On the victor cruz play, did Anybody else know that a player can just give himself up? I knee a qb could do it but I thought everybody had to get touched.

They were showing the replays and what the rule actually says.  Basically you can give yourself up by going to the ground and not showing any effort to continue making forward progress.. and considering he dove, dropped the ball and walked the other way before getting hit, I'm pretty sure he was giving up.  it's just he should've stayed down longer than .5 seconds.. but that rule should be rewritten to say how you can go down because in general they go down feet first if they're giving up.

That call was a horse shit interpretation of that rule. I've never seen it called when a guy didn't go feet first.

I got to go to the Boston/Montreal exhibition game in Halifax with a couple people, even though alot of players weren't dressed for the game it was still awesome and got me pretty pumped for the new season....and ya Boston won that game Sad lol
