I dont know if you guys watched the pre-game show any but the funny about you guys argument is they polled active and non-active QB's to see who is the better QB. The greatest QB Mr. Joe Montana hit the nail on the head when he split his vote saying he would take Brady in the 1st half and Peyton in the 2nd half. Funny thing is his opinion is exactly how it played out. Peyton did his thing in the 2nd half, came from behind and won the game.

Who won the poll?

Peyton, 13.5-2.5. I think the biggest thing besides their arms, will to win and what not is what Peyton does at the line and the fact that he basically runs the offense. Peyton calls the plays going to the line and then of course at the line. The OC has admitted continously that he doesnt call plays he just throws out ideas to Peyton. In that manner I dont think Brady can hold a candle to Peyton. Both have benfitted from running games at time and both have benfitted from a great wide receiving core. However the little bit of help that Brady has had that Peyton hasn't is a top notch defense.

Here is where all arguments fail... Payton Manning cannot compare in the playoffs! Brady wins when it matters most, and the Colts have always had a good defense so in my mind that argument holds no weight. When Manning has a 86% winning percentage in the post season, 3 superbowls, and 2 superbowl MVP's then we can have this discussion. He might be the best regular season QB but, at the end of the day that means nothing.

Yeah I'm with ya on majority of that Mike but I guarantee if you pull up defensive rankings over the last 9 years or so the Colts D may have cracked the top 10 like twice. I could be wrong though. Where's Kevin the statistician when you need em! I'm too lazy to pull that shit up. LOL!

Lets meet back here in 10 years and compare stats.  See who's on top then.  You act like either of them are close to the end of their careers.

In all honesty I don't think Brady stays with the Pats when his contract is up unless he is willing to take the home town discount. Really at the end of the day your lucky to have either guy on your team but, Brady seems to be better in the clutch.

It's closer than you would think... I could only find the last 7 years but the average defensive rank for NE was 11.7, and the Colts were 13.6.

Thats as far back as I am going -using 2009 as a full year, on Average, New England has been ranked out of 32 in team defense since 2002.

New England has been ranked, on average: 11.1 Indianapolis on average has been ranked 13.6 (2.5 places worse over same span).  Sorry Mike, your arguement doesn't hold water.  Also over that 8 years, New England has finished better in defense, statistically 6-2.
