To tell you the truth, losing Webb was more of a factor than Lewis I think.  While Lewis was the defensive "leader", Webb was the best defensive player we had left after Suggs.  Ngata (third best defensive player after Webb and Suggs) has been playing with a knee injury and you could see him limping around all game.  Add on top of that, Reed has a torn muscle in his shoulder that is limited him on the field. 

Injuries are part of the game for sure but when you have 5 of your top defensive players either hurt or out for the season, the outlook is pretty bleak.   Sad

This giants game is an excellent example of how the lit defense could be awesome and horrible all in one game.

How the fuck do you not call it a fumble and say he was down when he was standing five feet away from ball while it's on the ground when he went down... shittiest fucking call of the season.  I almost want the replacement refs back at this point.
