I set my laptop up for The Exchanger or whatever, where you can get stuff off your laptop (music, pictures, videos) and have it on your xbox... I immediately turned it off.  It so laggy, its terrible.  AND I dont use Windows Media Player, the majority of my music and stuff is in iTunes, so I can barely play any of it anyway. 

I also like the new layout.

You can't expect Mircosoft to design something that is I tunes friendly. Mine is not laggy at all maybe its a network thing?

I completely understand, I honestly didnt even think about it when I did it. lol  But it would be nice...

And yeah, terrible wireless connection.  For some reason, my room works perfectly fine, but my brothers room, which is another 10 ft farther than my room from the router, gets absolutely NO wireless reception.  So hes gonna get a signal repeater or whatever when he graduates and comes home.

Try upgrading to Wireless N... Xbox runs alot better on 5GHz

One thing you could do if you don't want to shell out the $55 for the 360 wireless N adapter is plug it into a laptop that supports N, and share its connection. (Provided that you have an N router)

That's what I did for awhile with my desktop. I had a 75 foot cat6 cable run around my room to my 360 so that it could get a better connection. Wireless G is just downright terrible lol.

I don't think I'd need an adapter, I have the new slim 360 with the built in wireless.  I could be wrong but I think I would just need the router.

Not really when they bought the parts to assemble the latest model. N wireless probably wasn't as common.

Your right it does have "N" but, does not support dual band so you can only connect at 2.4 GhZ. With the N wireless adapter you and connect to a 5GhZ network. So technically it's N but, you can't connect to the N band so its useless.
