Hey guys. A few weeks ago, all of my windows stopped going down except my drivers. When I try, all of them click but don't move. I looked it up and saw it's the Power window switch (I think that's the correct name).

I also remember reading somewhere that if/when you replace it, you have to reprogram the key, is this true?

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread because I have a similar problem. I think Mike has changed the motor, not sure about the switch though.

^Ye, but the doors all have their individual motors.

If each door is clicking, it's not the motor of that door. If a window motor went out on said window, you wouldn't hear a click.

If all except the driver's window don't work it could be the child safety switch on the driver door which locks all the other doors. It would be odd for all 3 windows to stop working at the same time and this is switch ties them all together.

^ lol, it's not that... If you press the child lock, no window would make the clicking noise. In this case, child lock is not on and all of them click but do not move.

This is the switch:

but I guess no one here knows the answer to my original question.

If this could help you, in the early days when my dad had my accord, he had issue with the switch, an internal plastic thing that broke I think. I was quite young and didn't really care back then so that's all I know ... good luck with your issue man

My passenger side sometimes acts up, only during the summer months though. I can hear the click, but both my side and passenger switches can't make it move. Clicking, but no movement. After awhile, it works.

My driver side came off the track and fell inside the door the last time I opened my window. Passenger side goes up and down but only with the passenger switch. Seems to be a common problem a lot of people have.
