What Z said.  On built motors and swap cars with stiffer engine mounts, the engine vibrations are a bit harsher than in an untouched car.  The K Tuned V2 TPS is reported to use an OEM quality sensor, that is encased in silicone and inside a billet housing.  I actually have one of these on my car and it's held up pretty good so far.  I've only had it for a few months though.  For your car, something like this isn't really necessary if your OEM one is working fine.
