It's from survival straps. If I use it, they will replace it. To be perfectly honest, I feel balanced with it on. I've always got a watch on, so something on the other wrist makes it feel balanced. Plus if I'm out four wheeling and break my leg, I can use it as either a tourniquet or to build a stint, use it to make shelter, whole Myriad of uses

Im out snowboarding today and I tracked myself with GPS on one the Black Diamonds. A top speed of 51.45 MPH was the result.
Top pic is me at the top before I dropped in.
Bottom left is the GPS track.
Bottom right is the stats.
