I let my friend use my jack stand to jack up his M3, and the jackstand got bent. I have been trying to find where to buy an OEM jack stand for his ass to replace, besides the one currently on ebay for 60 bucks, however I can't seem to find it on any dealer website? Any idea what I should be looking for, or what the part number may be to it?

Have you tried calling your local dealer and asking them directly?  I'm sure they're willing to give you the part number over the phone.  Tim posted up some info for a dealer that's very knowledgeable and their prices seem competitive.  You might want to give them a try.

Edit: it's AutoFair Honda. See the retailer thread.

Also, I moved this over to this section because it's not K-Series specific.

Contact Ryan at AutoFair Honda and tell him I told you to call. He will take care of you. Even if you don't have the part number, he can find it. Also, it's a jack, not jack stand.

There are 2 part numbers available for this jack.  They are 89310-SDA-A01 and 89310-SDA-A11.  List is like $180, but you can probably get it for around $120-130.

why not just purchase a small floor Jack. It's generally cheaper and safer.

you can get a very small floor Jack that will fit in with the spare tire. It's far more stable than a scissor Jack.

bottle Jack? It would work but the minimal surface area leads to instability

I'd trust a scissor jack over a bottle jack any day. Plus, I don't know of any bottle jack that can fit under our cars (stock height of course). Bottle jacks are the devil!

What Z said. My OEM scissor jack seized up on me a while back. I checked out the prices and they were similar to what Tim posted. Being that I own a floor jack, I picked up a cheap scissor jack from Harbor Freight (rated at around 1.5 tons, but who nows, it's Harbor Freight). I believe autozone may even have some with better quality. Then again, you're not paying for it, your buddy is, so go OEM.
