A little help for an old friend

Some of you newer folks might not remember Skizot (Scott) for his amazingly clean engine bay or perfectly clean wheels but, you should know him as a great person who does his best to help others as shown in his thread (link below). I know he has helped out many members in his more active days as Tim can attest to, but, now it seems he could use a little help.

I haven't personally talked to Scott in a while but, I'm assuming he is now married (His wife started the page linked below) and has children in his life, and needs some help to provide a wonderful gift to a child with Autism. Check out the site below, and if you can make a donation. Scott is a great guy, and deserves our support.

Hmmm. I have to give that guy a call. I haven't talked to him in about a year. Good stuff Mike. How did you find this?

Noticed it on Facebook, and shot him a message to confirm it was all legit. Figure its the least we can do for a great guy who was always looking to help others.

I try to give what I can when I come across something worth giving to. However... isn't this the same guy that bought a newish Porsche 911 not too long ago? Now he wants donations for a bike for his daughter? Call me an asshole if you want but that just doesn't sit right with me.

In all honesty you should ask for the backstory before making ignorant comments. Its not actually his daughter he remarried and adopted 5 childern one of which has Autism. Pretty sure the fancy cars are gone my friend, and as he sacraficed personal pleasures to better the lives of other people.

The last time I spoke with him (over a year ago) he got rid of the Porsche. People's situations change.

I read his wife's comment on the donation page but it didn't mention anything about them being adopted. Not sure how I was supposed to know that. The last time I remember him posting is when he had bought the Porsche.
I'm glad to see I was wrong and I retract my previous statement.

I think the kids are hers but he adopted them. Its alright I see where you were coming from. Scott is a good dude, and wouldn't ask if he didn't have to.
