NECM/NYCM Meet round 2.

Alright so lets get planning. I put 5 different weekend up with a Sat and Sun date. Some people perfer to have a Saturday meet and other a Sunday due to the fact that they work on Saturday. Location is curretnly TBA. It will either be at the Fresh 2 Death Meet in RI if Dave can get us a date if it is happening this year or Hammonasset State Park where we tried to have it 3 weeks ago.

If we have it at Hammonasset please make sure to bring $25 for you admission to the park and i don't want to hear any  . In Kevin's case $300 to buy a dog

Everyone has 2 choices as to which weekend works best for them. from there we will select a date. So lets start clearing those calenders.

Do you guys have any interested in rolling this meet into the Canam meet and making a weekend of it. I know the location is a little less central but, it has the potential to be a good time and allow us to meet a lot of new enthusiasts.

In my opinion, at the last meet people had problems with paying $22.00 to get inside the park. I seriously doubt people would want to spend more money on the Can-Am meet.  I think we should keep this as a Hamonassett State Park meet.

Has anybody looked into the park fees to see if it's less after labor day?  Just a thought.

I'm interested, but can't vote yet because I really want to dedicate one of the weekends to the Fresh2Death RI event, whenever it may be.  Also, what is the CanAm thing?

from what i seen on Conn State Park website, they have weekday and weekend prices year round. It didn't show any prices differences for different season meaning summer prices versus fall prices.

Dave due you know if they plan on having a meet, they don't show any updates on the F2D website. Maybe i'll hit them up on facebook

Not sure yet.  Either the kid Jeff who runs that blog will be hosting it, or the originators of the meet two years ago (Team Black Japan) will be doing it.  My eyes are on their forum daily for any updates.

I got a brief reply back from the kid Jeff of Fresh2Death.  Due to snags in locations and other stuff, he's aiming to have the big annual show sometime in the middle of September.  If that does happen, than we should all try to attend that as a group.  It's usually on a Sunday too.

As an fyi, I'm starting to get wind that the big RI meet MAY be held on Sunday, September 11th.  Please note that this is NOT OFFICIAL yet, but I figured I'd throw it out there so that people can keep it in mind.  Not sure how people feel about that day though because of what it signifies, but either way, I'll follow up when I know more.
