What's up guys. I've been inactive for a while b.c. I moved from NY to Washington state, (Yeah, the westtttt coast).

So yeah, what I want to ask you guys is...I've been thinking about having a nice deep growl/drone to my car. My car currently only gets loud when I step on it (DC headers, K&N sri, TSX intake manifold) but, I now want something coming from my exhaust.

I've looked up threads on other forums about this topic and all say, it sounds nice. Its a deep tone or growl, and not to loud(some cases of rasp but rare). Also, minimal HP gains, but thats not my aim.


I wanted to ask my accord team before I did anything.
P.S.: My car is a 2005 Honda accord

Start with removing the resonator.  Then if you need more of a drone (ughhh), go ahead and get a different muffler.

Any idea what kind of result i would get by removing the resonators on my J leaving the stock mufflers? When i start the car theres a hint on something good.

More sound? The piping is restrictive if you're looking for performance.

too little back pressure is good. what you don't want is too little exhaust velocity.
